EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event is called .  It will begin on THURSDAY, JUNE 27 (around 3:30 pm BST, according to the Devs) and run until MONDAY, JULY 1.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the debut of OAKENTAUR, the 4* Poison Infiltrator.  Similar to Artemis, OAKENTAUR has the ability to Summon Omega Panthers to the battlefield.  Omega Panthers have an extra 25% CRITICAL and +30% SPEED, but they deal -40% DAMAGE compared to regular Panthers.  In addition, OAKENTAUR can Summon a total of four Omega Panthers - whereas Artemis Summons three.

SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +56% Titan Armor Piercing, +56% Titan Poison Resist, +1 Summon Omega Panther Spell

Slot 2:  Titan Offensive Tier III Skill (Damage, Armor Piercing OR Critical)

Slot 3:  +180% Panther Damage, +1 Summon Omega Panther Spell

Slot 4:  Titan Offensive X Skill (Damage OR Armor Piercing)

Slot 5:  +44% Panther Critical, +2 Summon Omega Panther Skill

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  Are there any plans to add “Elemental effects” to other Elements - similar to how Fire burns down trees?

Answer (A) from a Developer:  Good question.  There are no plans at the moment, but we’ll look into that.

Q:  Will there be Starter Packs for this Event?

A:  There will be a number of Starter Packs and Bundles available for this Event.  We can’t say which ones right now, but keep an eye out for the offers.

Q:  When will you fix Titans running in circles?

A:  We actually just talked about that this week.  We’re working on a fix.

Q:  Will the Minotaur’s Ring Relic give a boost for the Oakentaur Event?

A:  No, that Relic gives a boost to Iron (Physical) Souls - so it will not work for a Poison Event.

Q:  Why can’t Staff of Storms be equipped by all Titans?

A:  I believe it’s because that is a Lightning Relic.

Q:  Are you working on Relic filtering so we can switch between viewing A-Z and Z-A?

A:  Maybe.  (Note:  Sounds to me like they’re working on this feature).

Q:  When is Kronos coming back?

A:  Kronos is coming back, but we don’t want to give a date yet.

Q:  When is the next update?

A:  We hit a few snags, but Version 1.33 should be coming out soon.  We’ll talk more about it next week.

Q:  Any plans for a Relic Forging Event?

A:  YES.  Matt is not here today, but he has been working on something like that.  It is in testing now.

Q:  Fix the problem with hackers!

A:  We’re working on that - especially on hackers who do something at the last moment during an Event.

Q:  Any plans for Alliance Wars?

A:  There are some things in our backlog focusing on Alliance War stuff.  Nothing we can talk about right now, but we’re looking it.

Q:  When is Lubu coming back?

A:  He was exclusive to Chinese New Year, so he won’t come back soon - but he will be back eventually.

Q:  New 5* Relics still coming?

A:  Yes.  We’ll be able to show them off either during next week’s LiveStream or the week after that.

Q:  Any fix coming for Goliaths walking off the map and walking through things?

A:  We’re working on that.

Q:  Can we get a “lock” feature so we don’t accidentally Fuse away our favorite Relics?

A:  That’s a good idea.  We’ll look into that.

Q:  How about putting 5* Relics in an Event?

A:  No plans for that at the moment - they’ll be staying in the Divine Gem Altars for now.  That may change in the future, though.

Q:  Zeus walks too slow.  Please speed him up.

A:  We can look into that.  Let us know if you think he’s too slow.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs made a statement regarding the Firestryke Event.  They said during the Event there were a lot of Server issues that took place, and “a lot of problems internally” have been “solved now, and should not happen again”.  As a result of those issues, they gave out some compensation packs to players.  Everyone in the game should have received something, and if you have not received anything it should be waiting for you to collect it in the section of the Temple where you can buy Gems.  They mentioned that your League, Position and Activity Level determined which reward you received.

The Devs said they did not do a LiveStream last week because there were “multiple people away” and they had “technical issues”.  

—

The Devs said that this week’s “Greek Armory” Event was “a bit of a test”, to see whether or not the community enjoyed Events like this one (short Events with new Relics available).  They asked for Players to leave feedback on Facebook, whether they enjoyed the Event or not.

Haig mentioned that they haven’t forgotten about increasing Relic Storage.  He said they hit another hurdle, but they worked out a fix for it - and they will have an update for us “very soon” - perhaps as early as next week.

The Devs mentioned that, in addition to the two new 5* Relics (one Champion, one Guardian), there will also be two new Titans added to the 10k Divine Gem Altar when the next update (Version 1.33) goes live.  (Note from SteelSpine:  The Devs slipped up during the last Stream and said that Huntress and Oni would be the new Titans added to the Divine Gem Altars.  If plans haven’t changed, I would expect that to remain true).

NEXT *TWO* WEEKS:

MONDAY, JULY 1:  There will be a TITANS UNLEASHED Event (also known as a Titan Fusion Event).  (NOTE from SteelSpine:  It will be “Infiltrator Themed” - but remember, that ONLY matters for what’s available in the Temple.  ALL “Same Class to Same Class” Fusion will grant a large XP Bonus.  I’m mentioning this because of how confusing the Devs make the in-game messaging, and I’ve received questions about this from newer players in the past).

TUESDAY, JULY 2:  There will be a Relic Festival.  The Devs said there would be “some interesting stuff there”.  (Note:  Relic Festivals are always Temple Events).

FRIDAY, JULY 5:  There will be a CONQUEST EVENT.  No other information available yet.

TUESDAY, JULY 9:  There will be a THEATERS OF WAR Event.

THURSDAY, JULY 11:  There will be a “cool” Event.  (Haig stressed the word “cool”, so it *sounds to me like* it will be Ice themed - but that’s just a guess).

NO LIVESTREAM THIS WEEK - June 19, 2019

Hi, everybody!

The Devs announced this morning on the Dawn of Titans Facebook page that there will NOT be a LiveStream this week - so this will not be a typical Recap.  Sorry, all - I wish I had more to report, but all I have this week is rumors.

There is quite a bit of speculation as to why the Stream was cancelled this week.  Some players think that it may be because they don’t want to answer questions about compensating the Alliances that had major issues last week in-game.  (For those who don’t know:  A handful of Alliances - including at least one from Legends League, “Incarnation” - completely disappeared from the Servers midweek.  Some of the players in those Alliances asked me to mention what happened in this week’s Recap, because they basically missed out on the entire week - including the FireStryke Event.  They could not log back into the game until the new Season began on Monday.  The entire game was given two Free Gifts to make up for the issues last week - one containing a 4* Mindfyre earlier this week, and a second Gift on Wednesday containing a FireStryke Titan OR a Korthan Titan - but as far as I know there has not been any direct compensation for the individual players from Alliances that were locked out).  

NOTE:  This is all speculation.  The Devs May have cancelled the Stream this week due to illness, or they may have been on vacation, or they may not have this week’s Event fully structured yet, or they may be having technical difficulties.  There is no way to know.  I am simply reporting what has been said to me in private messages in-game and on the LINE App because a few players asked me to make everyone aware of the issue.

Anyway, here’s what we DO know about this week:

We don’t have any confirmation on this, but this week’s Event is widely speculated to be the return of DIONYSUS, the Physical Champion.  The Devs told us last week that this week would be one of the two Titans featured on the “This Month in Dawn Of Titans” post they sent out on Twitter and Facebook a few weeks ago - so this week SHOULD BE either Dionysus or a “mystery Titan” with glowing green eyes (which most players think will be Oakentaur, a new Omega Panther Summoning Titan).  In addition, there was a Champions themed Altar Event this week (and Dionysus is a Champion).  Also, the Event will be called “THE HARVEST” - which lines up perfectly with Dionysus.

If this week IS Dionysus, here’s what you need to know about him (based on his Skills the first time around):

Dionysus has the unique ability to Summon OMEGA MILITIA.  Omega Militia deal 5x Charge Damage and have 50% more Troops per unit (resulting in +50% Damage and +50% Health).

DIONYSUS’ SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +1 Summon Omega Militia Spell, +50% Human Troop Damage

Slot 2:  Militia X Skill

Slot 3:  +2 Summon Omega Militia Spells, +44% Archer Critical

Slot 4:  Militia X Skill

Slot 5:  +2 Summon Omega Militia Spells, +225% Archer Damage

NEXT WEEK (Maybe):

If the Devs keep honoring the “This Month in DoT” calendar, that would make next week’s Event the debut of Oakentaur.  Oakentaur is believed to be an Omega Panther Summoning Titan, based on previous leaks.  Again, this is only an educated guess.

NOTE:  EVERYTHING ABOVE IS SPECULATION AND GUESSES.  We have no confirmation directly from the Devs, so they MAY change the calendar completely.  Without a LiveStream this week, there is just no way for us to know what will be in this week’s Event until Thursday rolls around - and no way for us to know what to expect next week until it happens and/or until next Wednesday’s LiveStream.

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event is called FIRE & BLOOD.  It will begin on THURSDAY, JUNE 13 (around 3:00 pm BST) and run until MONDAY, JUNE 17.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features FIRESTRYKE, the Fire Ranger.  FIRESTRYKE has a few unique Skills - as shown below.  She is also the first Titan with a “floating” animation; that is, she appears to float across the battlefield rather than walk.

SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +36% Titan Damage, +36% Human Troop Damage, +30% All Fire Spells Damage (Fireball and Meteor Strike)

Slot 2:  +Human Troop Armor OR Health

Slot 3:  +180% Grenadiers Damage, +3 Fireball Spells

Slot 4:  +Human Troop Armor Piercing OR Damage

Slot 5:  +88% Grenadier Armor Piercing, +2 Missiles Per Fireball

NOTE:  The Skill in Slot 5 makes it so every time you cast the Fireball Spell it shoots three Fireballs at your target, rather than one.

ALSO:  The version of Firestryke shown by the Devs had +80% Human Troop Armor in Slot 2 and +80% Human Troop Armor Piercing in Slot 4.  The Devs said she can also roll Human Troop Health in Slot 2 and/or Human Troop Damage in Slot 4, but they did not say what the numbers would be for those Skills.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  Are you still working on Relic Storage?

Answer (A) from a Developer:  Yes.  Hopefully we will have some details for you soon - maybe next week.

Q:  Can you please put the 4* Wild Arrows Relic in an Event?

A:  “Um.  It’s one of the old ones.  Uh.  We may have to, umm, ...”  “Maybe.  We’ll consider it”.  (Note from SteelSpine:  It *sounded like* Haig was about to say “we may have to change it first”, or something like that - so I’m not very hopeful about the Wild Arrows making it back into an Event any time soon, unfortunately.  The Devs did seem to leave the door open to the possibility of bringing it back, though..)

Q:  When is Kronos coming back?

A:  “um.  Sometime.”  “He will be back, yes”.

Q:  What are you doing about hacking Alliances winning Seasons?

A:  Anyone who was effected by this should be getting compensated soon, if you haven’t already.  With the increased activity due to the Reward changes, we are seeing a lot of hackers coming in.  We are working on reducing it at the moment.

Q:  When will we be able to upgrade multiple Troops at once?

A:  We have no plans for that currently, but it might change in the future.

Q:  Are the Greek Gods done?

A:  “No comment”.

Q:  Are more Egyptians on the way?

A:  Yes.

Q:  When is the next Event where we can use all of our old, leftover Boost Relics?

A:  Not next week, but we have one coming up soon.

Q:  Will Elemental Grasp come back in an Event?

A:  Yes, at some point.

Q:  Why don’t you ban entire Alliances who are found to have cheated?

A:  Because not everyone in an Alliance cheats.

Q:  Will you put Corrupted Troops into the game - not just in Conquest?

A:  We have talked about it, yeah - but right now we’re focused on other things.

Q:  What other changes are being considered for the Epic Altar?  The current changes are underwhelming.

A:  We’re going to try out a few things, but we’re taking it slow.  We still want you guys to give us feedback about the new L20-30 Altar.  Please contact us!

Q:  Why not get rid of 2* Titans at the Epic Altar?  8k Gems is not worth it for a 2*.

A:  That’s good feedback.  If you guys think we should do that, let us know.

Q:  It would be nice to see how much time an attacker took on your Garrison.

A:  We’ve talked about doing that.  We like that idea a lot, actually.

Q:  When are the new “Relic Forging” Relics coming?  (Note:  The Devs talked about adding these months ago, but nothing ever came of it.  They were supposed to be special “blank Relics”, only to be used for Forging - similar to Titan XP Relics).

A:  We’ll be talking about that next week.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs mentioned that Anubis has new animations on the battlefield.  They said if you have him, take him out for an attack and check them out.

Matt mentioned a question was asked a few weeks ago about possibly changing the Relic Slot unlocks on Titans, making it so new Relic Slots Unlock at Levels 15/25/35/45/55 instead of 20/30/40/50/60.  He said he is going to bring it up with the Development Team.

The Devs mentioned they will probably share details about the next game version - v1.33 - during next week’s LiveStream, including changes to the Treasure Room.

Matt let something slip - I think accidentally - at the end of the Stream.  He was asked if any “Japanese Mystic” Titans would be added to the game.  In response, he said “yeah, the Divine Gems Altar will be updated soon to add Huntress and Oni”.  So it *SOUNDS LIKE* they will replace Chernobog and Belobog, rather than be new Titans available in Events.

TUESDAY:  There will be a Temple Event.  (No further details).

THURSDAY:  Next week’s Event will be one of the two that are shown on the June Calendar that was shared on DoT’s Twitter and Facebook earlier this month - so it will either be Dionysus, or a new Titan (which is speculated by many players to be an Omega Panther Summoning Infiltrator called Oakentaur - but that is *only a rumor*, for now).
