Please accept my apologies for not writing a Recap last week, everybody.  Things were pretty hectic at home; I am a stay-at-home Dad, and having all of the kids at home and acting as my wife’s secretary as she works from our kitchen has been ... interesting.  :-)

I honestly didn’t think too many people would miss it, since there wasn’t much new info on the “Official DoT Blog” anyway - but judging by how many of you wrote to me to ask where the Recap was (or just to ask if I was okay), I was wrong.  I’ll be sure to type up a Recap each week going forward, even if there isn’t much to report.  Sorry again!

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will be called PHOENIX RISING.  It will begin on THURSDAY, APRIL 30 and run until MONDAY, MAY 4.  (NOTE from SteelSpine:  According to the Official DoT Blog, this week’s Event will be a SOLO LEADERBOARD EVENT).

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the return of SULZAR, the Unak Fire Ranger.  SULZAR has been fully reskilled for this Event.  The old version of SULZAR had one Tier I Offensive Grenadiers Skill, one Tier II Offensive Grenadiers Skill and one Tier III Offensive Grenadiers Skill, in addition to one Tier I Defensive Grenadiers Skill and one Tier II Defensive Grenadiers Skill.  The newly reskilled version of SULZAR has been given five Panther Skills, two Titan Skills and upgraded Grenadier Skills.

SULZAR’s new SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +180% Titan and Grenadier Damage.  +90% Panther Void and Lightning Resist.

Slot 2:  +150% Grenadier Armor Piercing.  +150% Panther Armor Piercing.

Slot 3:  +44% Grenadier Critical.  +180% Panther Health.

Slot 4:  +180% Grenadier Damage.  +300% Panther Damage.

Slot 5: +44% Titan Critical.  +150% Panther Armor.

MONDAY, 4 MAY until TUESDAY, 5 MAY:  A CONSTRUCTION FRENZY Event (discount on building upgrades).

TUESDAY, 5 MAY until THURSDAY, 7 MAY:  An ASSAULT Event will take place.  This will be the first ASSAULT Event in exactly seven months.  The last one took place on 7 October, 2019.  This Assault will feature new maps and updated rewards.  **  PLEASE SEE THE “ASSAULT EVENT” SECTION BELOW FOR FULL DETAILS **

THURSDAY, 7 MAY:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  This one will be called “Queen of the Aesir”.  (NOTE:  The Devs did not drop any hints regarding what the Titan will be, but we can safely assume that she MAY be a Paladin since the Fusion Event on May 11 will feature Paladins - and Fusion Events traditionally feature whichever Class was offered in the previous week’s Event).

MONDAY, 11 MAY until TUESDAY, 12 MAY:   A TITANS UNLEASHED Event (also known as a TITAN FUSION Event).  This one will feature Paladins in the Temple - but remember, during Titans Unleashed ALL TITANS get the same XP Bonus from Same-Class-to-Same-Class Fusion.

MONDAY, 11 MAY until THURSDAY, 14 MAY:  There will be a CONQUEST Event, featuring the return of DIONYSUS.  (Note:  No word regarding whether or not Dionysus will be reskilled for this Event, but since Artemis and Kronos both had Events recently and were NOT reskilled I would expect Dionysus to have his original skillset).

THURSDAY, 14 MAY:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  No information given regarding what we can expect.

ASSAULT EVENT:

ASSAULT returns to DoT on Tuesday, May 5th.  Most of the details remain the same: players will have 3 minutes to defend a stronghold from waves of enemies, using Max Level (L25) Troops and Spells along with “a number of allied Titans”.  Rewards will still include Relic Shards (used in Relic Forging).  However, in this new Version you will also earn Relics of War - just like in Theaters of War.  From now on, ALL Relics of War from ALL Theaters of War AND Assault Events will be combined and will carry over together, and can be saved up and spent in other ToW & Assault Events.

REWARDS begin at 500 Points, and continue up to 350k Points.

TOP REWARDS (4*+) for the 5 May ASSAULT Event will include:

NOTE from SteelSpine:  The Players still have NO mechanism for asking questions or for having their questions answered (other than through the in-game Support, which is lacking - or through the Facebook/Twitter pages, who only respond with “copy/paste” stock answers).  In a complicated game like this, we NEED access to those who write the game on a regular basis - or else our thoughts go unheard.  Please figure it out, Devs.

ALSO:  Just want to say “thank you” to whoever is writing the “Official DoT Blog”.  It seems like every week you guys copy another one of my ideas and use it in your Blog posts - this week it was the addition of Skill percentages (like “+88% Armor Piercing” instead of just saying “Armor Piercing X”).  This makes it much easier for me to type up, and makes the information much more accessible for Players who don’t read the Recap.  So whoever is writing those blog posts - nice job.  Now please ask the Devs to do a weekly Q+A!  :-)

This week’s Event features the debut of URANUS, the “Primordial Greek Deity of the Sky”.  URANUS comes equipped with Militia Defensive Skills, Archer Offensive Skills AND “Human Troop” Skills (which boost Militia, Archers and Spearmen).  He also has the ability to Summon three Omega Militia and three Omega Archers.  

(NOTE:  Experienced players will see similarities between URANUS and the 4* RUNA, who was introduced on December 12, 2019.  They have similar skill sets - the main differences being that in place of the 4* Runa’s All Elemental Resist and Human Troop Health, Uranus has Human Troop Armor Piercing & Critical and four X Skills).

(ALSO:  The Devs did NOT mention in their Blog Post which Class Uranus will be - but it is quite possible that he will be a Berserker, since this Monday’s upcoming Fusion Event will feature Berserkers in the Temple).

MONDAY, 20 APRIL to TUESDAY, 21 APRIL:  A TITANS UNLEASHED Event begins (also known as a TITAN FUSION Event).  This one will feature Berserkers in the Temple - but remember, during Titans Unleashed ALL TITANS get the same XP Bonus from Same-Class-to-Same-Class Fusion.

MONDAY, 20 APRIL to THURSDAY, 23 APRIL:  An early week CONQUEST Event, featuring the return of ARTEMIS, the Poison Ranger.  (NOTE:  Artemis WILL NOT BE RESKILLED for this Event; she will have her original Skills.  ARTEMIS was the second Omega Summoner to be released overall, and was the first Titan to Summon Omega Panthers).  Also available in this Event will be a total of 900 Divine Gems, along with the 4* Toxic Charms, 4* Toxic Tonic and 4* Endless Quiver.  It will be an Individual Leaderboard Event, with the Top 500 Players receiving an Artemis and the Players ranked 501-10,000 receiving a Tansa (4* Poison Paladin Titan).

(**CORRECTION:  I originally said the Artemis Conquest Event would have 750 Divine Gems - I must have miscounted.  There will be 900 DGs up for grabs in this Event.  A big THANK YOU to [ONE]Willow for pointing out the mistake so quickly!**)

THURSDAY, 23 APRIL:  Another Alliance Leaderboard Event begins.  This one is called “KRONOS”, and (presumably) will feature his return.  No word regarding whether or not he will be Reskilled or have his original Skills.

27 APRIL to 4 MAY:  TROOPCRAFT Event (discount on Troops and Troop Upgrades).

MONDAY, 27 APRIL:  A “Greek Themed” Relic Festival.  (This will presumably be a a Temple Altar Event).

TUESDAY, 28 APRIL to THURSDAY, 30 APRIL:  A “Fire Themed” Theaters of War Event.

THURSDAY, 30 APRIL:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  (NOTE: We have no other information as of right now, but it is safe to assume that it will probably include a Fire Titan - since Theaters of War Events usually have the same theme as that week’s Event).

This week’s Event will begin on THURSDAY, APRIL 9 and run until MONDAY, APRIL 13.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the debut of LITHOTAUR, the Earth Infiltrator.  Like the other “Taur Titans” before him, LITHOTAUR Summons his Element’s Omega Troops (in this case, Omega Goliaths).  According to the Devs, LITHOTAUR will be the last of the -Taurs; there will be no Militia Minotaur or Archer Minotaur.

LITHOTAUR’s SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +1 Summon Omega Goliaths Spell, 100% Titan and Troop Armor, +100% Titan and Troop Armor Piercing

Slot 2:  +90% Titan Earth Damage

Slot 3:  +2 Summon Omega Goliaths Spells, +88% Goliaths Armor

Slot 4:  +180% Titan Earth Damage

Slot 5:  +2 Summon Omega Goliaths Spells, +117% Goliaths Health

*NOTE:  The Official DoT Blog says that Lithotaur will get Tier III Titan Damage in Slot 2 and Tier X Titan Damage in Slot 4.  Every other -Taur Titan has a random Tier III Titan Offensive Skill (+90% Damage, +44% Armor Piercing or +44% Critical) in Slot 2 and a random Titan Offensive X Skill (either +88% Titan Armor Piercing or +180% Titan Damage) in Slot 4 — so don’t be surprised if his Slot 2 and Slot 4 Skills are random.

NEW DIVINE TITANS:

The Divine Altars will be updated sometime next week.  Two new (and VERY strong) Titans will be added:  NECROSA and LIFESPARK.  NECROSA has formidable Skills for Defense, while LIFESPARK is an Offensive powerhouse.

NECROSA’s SKILLS:

Slot 1 (INVOKE - IRONFUR):  +60% Panther Void, Lightning Resist.  +180% Titan Health.  At the start of every battle and every 20 seconds, +30% Panthers Armor.

Slot 2:  +176% Horde Armor.  +88% Panthers Armor.  (Both Effects are DOUBLED on Defense).

Slot 3 (INVOKE - VOID RUNE):  +60% Horde Void, Lightning Resist.  +88% Titan Armor.  10 seconds after battle starts and every 20 seconds after, +30% Horde Armor.

Slot 4:  +234% Horde Health.  +117% Panthers Health.  (Both Effects are DOUBLED on Defense).

Slot 5 (INVOKE - VOIDBLOOM):  +40% Troop Melee, Ranged Resist.  Every third Invoke either Summons an Omega Panther or an Omega Horde.

Slot 1 (INVOKE - STEELFANG):  +40% Panther Melee, Ranged Resist.  +180% Titan Damage.  At the start of each battle and every 20 seconds, +30% Panthers Armor Piercing.

Slot 2:  +180% Storm Maiden Damage.  +300% Panther Damage.  (Both Effects are DOUBLED on attack).

Slot 3 (INVOKE - STORM RUNE):  +44% Storm Maiden, Panther Critical.  +60% Panther Void Resist.  10 seconds after battle starts and every 20 seconds after, +30% Storm Maiden Armor Piercing.

Slot 4:  +88% Storm Maiden Armor Piercing.  +150% Panther Armor Piercing.  (Both Effects are DOUBLED on attack).

Slot 5 (INVOKE - VOIDBLOOM):  +60% Panther Poison Resist.  +150% Troop Damage, Armor Piercing.  Every third Invoke either Summons an Omega Panther or an Omega Storm Maiden.

(NOTE:  This doesn’t really matter that much, but I *think* Lifespark’s fifth Skill is incorrectly named on the Official DoT Blog.  The Skills are probably correct, but the name must be something different.  Necrosa also has an Invoke Skill named “Voidbloom”, but it makes sense since it deals with Horde (Void) and Panthers (Bloom).  Lifespark’s fifth Skill is probably called “INVOKE - STORMBLOOM” or something like that).

13-20 APRIL:  SPELLCRAFT Event (discount on Spells and Spell Upgrades).

TUESDAY, 14 APRIL to THURSDAY, 16 APRIL:  A Solo (Individual) Leaderboard Event called “Instruments of War”.  No further information was given.

THURSDAY, 16 APRIL to MONDAY, 20 APRIL:  Another Alliance Leaderboard Event begins.  This one is called “PRIMORDIAL GOD OF THE SKY”.  (NOTE:  This Event will almost certainly be the premiere of the next Aztec “Invoke” God - but that’s purely speculation on my part).

20-27 APRIL:  PORTAL SURGE Event (discount on purchasing Portal Stones).

MONDAY, 20 APRIL to TUESDAY, 21 APRIL:  Another TITANS UNLEASHED Event begins (also known as a TITAN FUSION Event).  This one will feature Berserkers in the Temple - but remember, during Titans Unleashed ALL TITANS get the same XP Bonus from Same-Class-to-Same-Class Fusion.

MONDAY, 20 APRIL to THURSDAY, 23 APRIL:  An early week CONQUEST Event, featuring the return of ARTEMIS.  (ARTEMIS is a Poison Ranger.  She was the second Omega Summoner to be released overall, and was the first Titan to Summon Omega Panthers).

THURSDAY, 23 APRIL:  Another Alliance Leaderboard Event begins.  This one is called “KRONOS”, and (presumably) will feature his return.

27 APRIL to 4 MAY:  TROOPCRAFT Event (discount on Troops and Troop Upgrades).
