The Devs shared A LOT of information regarding the new Version 1.37 Update this week.  In fact, it was SO MUCH text that I couldn’t fit everything in one post on the Line App (which is where most Players read the Recap).  Therefore, in order to keep everything intact and not delete any important details I decided to split the Recap into two parts this week:  The “regular” Recap, and the v1.37 “supplemental” Recap.  Sorry for the confusion, all!

VERSION 1.37:  v1.37 has started to roll out to Android players.  It has rolled out to about 10% of Android users, and should start rolling out to more starting tomorrow (Thursday).  There was an issue that effected Eros, Wadjet and some other Titans (caused by old “test data” from when those Titans were originally being developed accidentally being included in the release), but this has been fixed.  It should be available in the iOS App Store soon, as well.  Devs are hoping for 100% rollout to ALL players by “early next week”.

v1.37 UPDATE DETAILS:

NEW GODS:  Haig:  “The Shattered Kingdoms have reached an impasse.  The factions are at an imbalance, with many resorting to prayer and sacrifice in the hopes that new Gods will answer their cries for help.  Out in the furthest reaches of the universe, these cries have been heard.  Long forgotten deities stir.  War is coming.  Get ready to INVOKE the power of new gods - coming soon to alliance wars”.  (Haig stressed the words “war” and “invoke”, and said there will be a blog post with a teaser image coming soon - most likely at the beginning of the week of March 2-6).

BABA YAGA arrives.

NEW ALLIANCE EVENT TYPE (coming sometime around or before early April):  “Face off against unique, formidable foes - and prepare yourself by joining a large, active Alliance”.  (Note:  Haig also mentioned “maximizing your Titan’s potential to compete”.  No idea what the context is with that, though).

NEW 5* RELICS, which will have “interesting and unique effects”.  Images will be in next week’s Official DoT Blog Post.

NEW DIVINE ALTAR TITANS - NECROSO and LIFESPARK.  They will have “powerful, dynamic abilities that can turn the tide of battle even in the most dire of circumstances”.

DIVINE ALTAR CHANGES:  Lots of changes coming to the DG Altars.  Haig said “the biggest complaint was having 3* Relics there - we THINK we have a plan to get rid of them”.

ASSAULT EVENT will return, with new maps and better Rewards.

CHANGES TO “QUICKMATCH BUTTON” - it should help you find “more appropriate opponents” during Events.

TROOP META CHANGES to ARCHERS (additional +10% to +20% Base Damage from L16-L25), GRENADIERS (additional +1% to +15% Base Critical from L11-L25) and PANTHERS (additional +20% to +30% Base Health and Armor from L16-L25).  (NOTE from SteelSpine:  These numbers reflect the total increase overall compared to what these Troops had previously in Version 1.36.  If this is confusing, think of it this way:  At Level 16 your Archers will now have an additional +10% Damage compared to what they had before.  Every Level after L16 they’ll gain another +1%, so at L17 it’ll be +11%, L18 will be +12%, etc, all the way to L25, which will have an additional +20% Damage compared to what they had in Version 1.36).  Interestingly, **THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES TO HORDE TROOPS IN THIS UPDATE**

INTRODUCTION OF RELIC SHARDS IN THE TEMPLE:  There will be two new Altars:  “Shards” and “Epic Shards”.  Just like the Relic Shards that were previously only available in Assault Events, these unique Relics’ only use will be as “Forging Food” for Leveling up your Relics.  The reason they provide extra Relic Forging Experience is because they always drop at their maximum Level (2*s are always L5, 3*s 4*s and 5*s are always L10), so they give the same Forging XP as forging away a maxed out Relic of the same Rarity would.  (For example:  If you fuse a regular L1 4* Relic into another Relic, you get 3000 Relic Forging XP.  If you fuse one of the new 5* Relic Shards into another Relic, you’ll get 29,000 Relic Forging XP).  (NOTE from SteelSpine:  I’m fairly certain that 5* Relic Shards were not included in any Assault Events in the past, so those are new.  Also, the Devs did NOT mention how much Forging XP would be granted by 2*/3*/4* Shards - so it’s unclear whether or not their numbers have been increased since the last Assault Event).

PLAYER LEVEL XP INCREASE:  The amount of Player XP gained from PVP battles will be doubled.  (Player Level is the number under your profile picture in the top left corner of your screen).

BUG FIXES:  A number of fixes for various bugs that cause crashes and freezes during loading and battle.  Fix for a crash that can occur when transitioning into the game after tapping on a “Push Notification” on iOS devices.  Fix for the “Profile Synchronization” issues when logging into multiple devices or new devices that share a Google Play or GameCenter Account.  More improvements to the Cheater Detection & Prevention systems.
