This week’s Event is called CLASH OF TITANS. It is the culmination of the big SECOND ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION.
This week’s Event will begin on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5 and run until MONDAY, DECEMBER 10.

Titan Details:
This week’s Event features ALMARAND! Almarand is a 4* Ice Berserker. He has three Skills that boost the strength of Skeletons (just like Calvarax) AND Summons Omega Grenadiers. (Side note: Almarand is the first Berserker who uses only one weapon. Pretty cool animations, too).
SKILLS:
Slot 1: Skeleton Boost Tier I
Slot 2: +2 Summon Omega Grenadiers Spells, +180% Grenadiers Damage
Slot 3: Skeleton Boost Tier II
Slot 4: +2 Summon Omega Grenadiers Spells, +44% Grenadiers Critical
Slot 5: Skeleton Boost Tier III
Almarand is available for 22k Souls.

Also available in this Event is KORTHAN. He has reworked skills, including: A unique Skill (Korthan’s Blade) in Slot 1 that boosts Titan + Troop Damage and Health, two Dual Resistance Skills and two Titan Defense Tier III Skills.
Korthan is available for 16k Souls.

It is an ALLIANCE LEADERBOARD EVENT (also known as an Alliance War Event); prizes will be awarded to all Players in an Alliance according to their Alliance Ranking at the end of the Event.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:
Question (Q) from a Player: What will happen if you equip the 5* Berserker Relic to Almarand? Will his appearance change?
Answer (A) from a Developer: We know it was tested and the 5* Berserker will work with Almarand, but we aren’t sure if his appearance will change.
Q: Will there be a Fusion Event any time soon?
A: Yes, there will be one soon. (NOTE from SteelSpine: The Devs seemed noncommittal on this, so I would not expect one next week. Probably the week after next, I think).
Q: Will everyone’s old Korthan Titans be updated to have the new Korthan skills?
A: No, only the new Korthans from this week’s Event will have his new skill set.
Q: Are Storm Maiden and Lightning Storm Spell Economy Relics (the kind that reduce the amount of time it takes to create Storm Maidens and Storm Spells) coming soon?
A: Yes, they will be included in the next release (Version 1.29).
Q: Titan Skill rerolls. Is there any chance we could see something like that soon?
A: “Oh, we would really love to talk about that. But we can’t.” “Yeah, there’s a chance you could see something like that in the future...” (Note from SteelSpine: The Devs definitely made it sound like they have something like this in the works. Stay tuned!)
Q: What can we do if we think we have been unfairly banned for cheating?
A: We have had multiple people contact us saying they were banned for “no reason”, but when we check there always seems to be some way they had hacked the game. That being said, if you think you were banned unfairly please contact us - we investigate all claims individually.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:
As of today, 85% of all cheaters and hackers have been found and banned.

THIS FRIDAY: Every Player will be given a FREE Token to be used at a special Altar in the Temple. This Altar will contain every 4* Titan ever released in the game (except Almarand) - so, in essence, every player will be given a FREE 4* Titan. EVERY 4* Titan - including the ultra-rare ones that normally can only be obtained with Divine Gems, like Auria - will have the SAME CHANCE at dropping, as well. So BE SURE to check in on Friday and grab your free Token (and free 4* Titan)! NOTE: YOU MUST USE THIS TOKEN BEFORE MONDAY OR IT WILL DISAPPEAR FOREVER, so be sure to use it this weekend, all!

TITAN BRAWL: The winner of the tournament was “Champdawg” (the rare Champion version of JALDARG, the 4* Earth Ranger). He will be featured in next week’s Event.

In celebration of the two year anniversary of DoT: If you check the official Dawn of Titans website, Facebook and/or Twitter this Friday you will find a free screensaver you can download that features every 4* Titan in the game, drawn to scale. (Note from SteelSpine: It looked pretty cool on the Stream, if anyone is interested in grabbing it). Another note: There is a blacked out outline of a Titan on this screensaver - the Devs said it will be updated after the Christmas Event to include this year’s Christmas Titan. You can tell from the outline what the Christmas Titan will be - but I won’t spoil it for anyone. :-)

NEXT WEEK:
MONDAY: There will be another Theaters of War Event, beginning sometime after the Almarand Event ends.
NEXT WEEK’S EVENT will be the culmination of the “TITAN BRAWL” tournament. It will feature the winner of the Titan Brawl bracket: CHAMPION JALDARG.

MY LINE ID IS STILL CURRENTLY SUSPENDED. Apparently Line’s policy is that they will not tell you WHY you were suspended or what part of the Terms of Service you are accused of violating. Line’s Customer Support also does not tell you how long your account is suspended. My suspicion is that my Recaps were reported as SPAM, since I only use my Line account for this Recap and other Dawn of Titans discussions - but I can’t prove it. I CAN still RECEIVE messages through my Line ID, but I CANNOT SEND MESSAGES through my old Line account. My Line ID is steelspinedot.
