EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event is called COLD BLOODED.  It will begin on THURSDAY, JANUARY 10 and run until MONDAY, JANUARY 14.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features AURIA.  Auria is a 4* Ice Infiltrator.  She is not a new Titan - but in the past she was only able to be obtained by a lucky draw at the 10,000 Divine Gems Altar, so this is the first time she is widely available.  The version of Auria that used to be available in the Divine Gems is different than this one, however:  That one has one Tier I Skill, two Tier II Skills and one Tier III Skill.  The Auria in THIS Event has two Tier II Skills, one Tier III Skill and an X SKILL.  (Note from SteelSpine:  Big improvement in my opinion).

Auria’s SKILLS:

Slot 1:  SPECIAL SKILL “Auria’s Daggers” - +30% Titan Damage, Health, Speed and Attack Radius

Slot 2:  Titan Offensive Tier II

Slot 3:  Titan Offensive Tier II

Slot 4:  Titan Offensive Tier III

Slot 5:  Titan Self-Boosting X Skill

Auria is available for 17k Souls.

New (or long missing) Relics available in this Event:  

There is a NEW type of Relic available in this Event.  The Auria’s Bounty Relic can ONLY be equipped on Ice Infiltrators - but, when equipped, it will provide +20% Souls in all future Ice Events.

4* Auria’s Bounty

+50% Titan Ice Damage

+ 20% Frost Souls Collected

+40% Titan Health

Auria’s Bounty is available for 20k Souls.

It is an ALLIANCE LEADERBOARD EVENT (also known as an Alliance War Event); prizes will be awarded to all Players in an Alliance according to their Alliance Ranking at the end of the Event.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  Any plans to allow players to upgrade more than one Troop or Spell at a time?

Answer (A) from a Developer: Still no plans to change this, but we may do something in the future.

Q:  Can we get some sort of a “bomb” that we can throw to Damage multiple enemies?

A:  (Devs laughed a bit, looked at each other, and then said):  “hmm.  Watch this space!”  (Note from SteelSpine:  Sounds like the Devs are working on a new spell perhaps?)

Q:  Is there a Titan Fusion Event coming in the next few weeks?

A:  Uh, yes there is.  In the next few weeks, for sure.  (Note from SteelSpine:  The Devs did not give a date for the next Fusion Event, but this is a direct quote - so I would guess there will be a Fusion Event either January 21-22 or January 28-29).  (Also:  The Devs said later on in the Stream that the next Fusion Event will happen in a couple of weeks, so January 21-22 is the most likely date in my opinion).

Q:  Do you plan to release more of these special Soul Boost Relics for other Elements in the future?

A:  “Hmm.  Maybe”.

Q:  Can we get some more Defensive Relics?

A:  “Yeah, we don’t see why not”.

Q:  Can we please get a “Titan XP Bank” feature?

A:  Lots of people asking for this.  Not right now, but maybe in the future.

Q:  Is Auria faster than Hel?

A:  “I don’t think so.  I think Hel is a little bit faster”.  (Note:  The Devs debated a bit about this.  In the end they said they think Auria is faster based on the in-game numbers, but we all know those aren’t 100% correct).

Q:  Will there be a Chinese New Year Event this year?

A:  Yes.  “And it’s pretty good”.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

There are now two NEW Titans available at the 10,000 Divine Gem Altar:  

BELEBOG, a 4* Fire Paladin

Skill 1:  Titan Defense Tier II

Skill 2:  Dual Resist Tier I ( Fire + Another Element )

Skill 3:  Dual Resist Tier I ( Lightning + Another Element )

Skill 4:  Titan Defense Tier III

Skill 5:  Titan Defense X Skill

and

CHERNOBOG, a 4* Ice Guardian.

Skill 1:  Imperial Elemental Resist Tier II

Skill 2:  Imperial Elemental Resist Tier II

Skill 3:  Imperial Elemental Resist Tier II

Skill 4:  Storm Maiden X Skill

Skill 5:  Storm Maiden X Skill

The Devs said these two Titans will be exclusively available at the 10k Divine Gem Altar for a few months (maybe six months), similar to Auria.

(Note from SteelSpine: these guys are based on Slavic mythology.  I seem to remember them making an appearance in the book “American Gods” by Neil Gaiman..  if anyone is a fan of Fantasy literature I highly recommend it).

The Devs said that the “big reveal” for the new feature they have been working on has been pushed back a week, so it will happen two weeks from today.  They said they’ll debut it in a video during that Thursday’s LiveStream (January 24, I think?).

Devs also said they are still looking into new Season Rewards for Leagues, but they have some other things they’d like to finish up first.  They said it should happen “in the next month or two”.

NEXT WEEK:

The Devs think the newest version of the game - v1.29 - will begin rolling out next week.  The biggest changes include:  

Special new Relic Forging XP Relics (“blank” Relics that give a boost to Forging when you Forge them into other Relics). 

A new 2* Ragnar Berserker Titan (Note from SteelSpine: finally!  Great for Fusion!) named “Agagar” or something similar (which will also be added to the Monument drop pool).

A change to the Battle Log, which will tell you which Titan an attacker used when he attacked you.

New loading screens.

New Avatars (“hopefully”, said the Devs).

Next week’s LiveStream will be on WEDNESDAY instead of Thursday.  The Devs said they have “something cool” planned for next week’s Event.  They also said it would NOT be a Lightning Titan, and they said Auria would not be a Soul Boost Titan for next week’s Event.  (Note from SteelSpine:  could be another Greek God or Summoner Titan?  It’s been a while since the Devs released a new one....)

The only thing on the schedule for next week right now is a Temple Event on Monday.
