This week’s Event is called THE JACKAL. It will begin on THURSDAY, MAY 23 (around 7:00 am EDT, 11:00 GMT, 12:00 BST) and run until TUESDAY, MAY 28.

Titan Details:
This week’s Event features the debut of ANUBIS, the Void Champion. ANUBIS is the first Egyptian God Titan. He is also the first 4* Titan to deal Void Damage, the first with Skills that boost the strength of Horde Troops, the first to boost Terror Spells and the first to grant free Terror Spells.
SKILLS:
Slot 1: +30% Titan Damage, +30% Titan Critical, +3 Terror Spells
Slot 2: +90% Titan Void Damage, +58% Horde AND Skeleton Health
Slot 3: Titan Health OR Armor, +300% Terror Spell Damage
Slot 4: +44% Titan Armor Piercing, +90% Horde AND Skeleton Damage
Slot 5: Titan X Skill, +50% Terror Spell Duration
NOTE: Two of Anubis’ Skills are NOT “fixed” (guaranteed):
Slot 3 can be either Titan Health or Armor (“Tier III”).
Slot 5 can be Titan Damage, Armor Piercing, Health or Armor.
ALSO: The Skills in Slots 2 and 4 boost both Horde Troops and Raise Dead Spell Skeletons.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:
Question (Q) from a Player: What is the Void Token for that we received from the Horde Unlock Event earlier this week?
Answer (A) from a Developer: Those Tokens will be usable during this week’s Anubis Event. (Note: The Devs confirmed later during the Stream that they are just regular “Event Relic Tokens”, redeemable for an Event Boost Relic).
Q: Any update on increased Relic Storage?
A: Nothing new to add, but we do have engineers working on it. “Relic Storage is currently our highest priority thing”.
Q: Is the Artemis in this Event the “new” Artemis?
A: Yes, it’s the updated one from the last Artemis Event.
Q: Can we please have Human Troops preset in Lands, in addition to Horde and Storm Maidens?
A: That’s a good suggestion. We can look into that.
Q: Is there a new Troop Building?
A: No. You’ll need Barracks L9 and Castle L16.
Q: Is there a fix yet for Horde Troops displaying incorrectly?
A: Yes, there’s an update out for Android devices now.
Q: Fix Titans walking in circles!
A: We’re working on that, too.
Q: Can we pick our own preset defenders for Lands and Garrisons?
A: No, that won’t be happening any time soon.
Q: How about an “auto train Troops” feature?
A: We gave the Barracks a big queue already, but “it would be nice” if you could auto queue Troops when full. (Note: The Devs didn’t really answer this Q).
Q: Will Dionysus be available again?
A: Yes he will - and “not too far away”.
Q: When you put out more Troops, give us more places to keep them.
A: Yeah, as soon as the Relic Storage is worked out we’ll be looking at other Storage across the game - so keep an eye out for that, as well. (Devs also mentioned they are trying to figure out Relic Storage for Version 1.33, maybe).
Q: Who are the new Titans shown in the Pantheon?
A: Check out our YouTube channel later today and you’ll find out.
Q: How about a Titan XP Share feature?
A: We are looking into solutions for Titan XP (for example, with Max Level Titans). Nothing to share today, though.
Q: What’s with the “dragon Titan” shown in the DoT posters?
A: Dom: That image - and the poster - is really, really old, so it’s not accurate. (Note from SteelSpine: After Dom replied to this Q, Haig smiled, chuckled and said “but never say never”. Then Dom smiled and said “Never say never, but there are no dragons in Dawn of Titans”. I’m not sure what to make of that).
Q: Can we have “live” PVP battles?
A: No, that won’t be happening. We thought about doing it, but it would be very difficult - and “that’s not the game we wanted to make”.
Q: Any new single player “Adventures” coming?
A: No, not any time soon - but we ARE planning to “play test” a new feature similar to that in the near future.
Q: Can we have something to spend Gold on when we’re “maxed out”?
A: Matt: “I don’t have an answer off the top of my head”.
(Note from SteelSpine: I’ve been asking about this in the LiveStream for WEEKS now. The game desperately needs a “gold sink” - a method for upper Level players to get rid of excess Gold. There’s already a “food sink” - you can use your Food/Corn to buy extra Neutral Lands every day. But Gold just piles up at Castle 25. I’ve suggested a 2*-4* Relic Altar, with a 1-2 Million Gold cost - but the Devs never reply. Hopefully they’ll implement something at some point).
Q: New 5* Relics coming?
A: There are new ones coming, yes. We can say that there are 2 new ones coming in the next update. We won’t tell you what they are or who they’re for, though.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:
The Devs said they are posting a “Dev Diary” video after today’s Stream - but they were a little vague regarding what it is about, other than that it mentions. Check DoT’s YouTube channel if you’re interested.

The Devs mentioned that they purposely made Horde Troop costs and training times “significantly lower” because they are intended to be fast, hit hard and “probably die”.

Last week’s Recap included a mistake. I used a template from a prior Conquest Event’s Recap - and forgot to delete Gungnir from the Rewards. The Recap was corrected on the blog, but by then it had already been shared on social media. I do my best not to make mistakes like that, but sometimes I mess up. I’m very sorry for any confusion I may have caused - and I’ll do better in the future. (Also - thank you to IngeniusMind on LINE for pointing out the mistake!).
