Matt (Game Designer) and Haig (Live Ops Manager) were on this week’s LiveStream.  Dom (Game Artist) was away at a conference.

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event is called VALHALLA.  It will begin on THURSDAY, MAY 30 (around 3:00 pm BST) and run until MONDAY, JUNE 3.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the return of VALKYRIE, the 4* Lightning Guardian.  Her Stats have changed very slightly from her original version: this updated version can not roll Defensive Grenadier Skills or Offensive Spearmen Skills.

SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +20% Base Titan Damage, +20% Armor, +20% All Elemental Resist

Slot 2:  Grenadiers Offensive X Skill (Damage or Armor Piercing)

Slot 3:  Spearmen Defensive X Skill (Health or Armor)

Slot 4:  Grenadiers Offensive X Skill (Whichever one is not in Slot 2)

Slot 5:  Spearmen Defensive X Skill (Whichever one is not in Slot 3)

VALKYRIE is available for 16k Souls.

New Relic available in this Event:  

4* Loki’s Trinket

+ Titan Lightning Damage

+ 20% boost to Storm Souls received from battle

+ Titan Health

(NOTE from SteelSpine:  The Soul boost on this Relic is ONLY for a Titan’s “base Souls” - it does NOT multiply your Event Relics.  So it basically grants 2-3 extra Souls per battle).

Epic Token at 8k Souls

4* Fallen Shoulders at 10k Souls

4* Orb of Duality at 11k Souls

Storm Titan Token at 12k Souls (see note below)

4* Loki’s Trinket at 13k Souls

500 Divine Gems at 17k Souls

(NOTE:  The Storm Titan Token can be redeemed at the Divine Shrine for a 4* Titan of your choosing.  You can choose either Loki, Thor or Thorhild).

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  When is the next Conquest Event?

Answer (A) from a Developer:  There will be one NEXT FRIDAY (JUNE 7).  (Note from SteelSpine:  The Devs originally said it would be JUNE 14, but they corrected themselves later in the Stream).

Q:  When is the next Fusion Event?

A:  It will be on JUNE 10, after the Conquest Event.

Q:  Any plans to increase the top Castle Level?

A:  Maybe.  Not in the near future, but it’s something we are considering.

Q:  More Relic Storage!

A:  We’re hoping to do something in Version 1.33.  It’s definitely something we are working on.

Q:  Please give us an X Skilled Runa!

A:  Matt:  “That’s a great idea, Bill Harper!  Shout out to you, mate!”  Haig:  “mmmmm!”  (Note from SteelSpine:  The Devs have been teasing the possibility of a Runa-themed Event - with a new, upgraded version of Runa - for a long time now.  Sounds almost like they have some plans for her soon..?).

Q:  Any plans to bring back Dionysus soon, or Kronos?

A:  Matt:  “Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes”.

Q:  Can you increase the time that Head Start Packs are available at the beginning of Events?

A:  Haig:  “It’s an interesting question.  We’ll consider doing something like that, maybe increasing the timers on some offers”.

Q:  Multiple Troop upgrading, please.

A:  We’re looking into it.

Q:  Increase Titan Storage, please.

A:  We’re looking into all the different storages, but Relic Storage is the big one right now.

Q:  Is there a fix for Omega Spearmen resists?

A:  (from Matt):  That never was an issue - but because the group was made larger and their Health remained the same, it’s almost as if the Elemental Resists were cancelled out by having less Health.  We’re looking into rebalancing them in the future - maybe by increasing their Health a bit.

Q:  Is Kronos next week?

A:  NO, Kronos is not next week.

Q:  When will the 4* Elemental Grasp come back?

A:  Not that soon.

Q:  Will there be a fix for Terror Damage?

A:  Yes, in Version 1.33 we will change the info card to properly display Terror Spell Damage numbers.  (Note from SteelSpine:  Terror is actually doing about 5 TIMES as much Damage as what’s shown in the Spell Info.  It *sounds like* the Devs are keeping the Damage the same, and just changing the numbers on the Info to reflect what’s really being done during attacks).

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs said there would be a “Troopcraft Event” happening sometime around June 17.  (Note from SteelSpine:  they mentioned “upgrading Troops” in regards to this Troopcraft Event, so it *sounds like* there *may* be a temporary decrease in upgrade/leveling costs during this Event.  Stay tuned).

The Devs mentioned possibly bringing back the old “Survival Event” - but merging it with “Volstan’s Boot Camp Event” (which featured tons of Titan XP Relics).  Matt said he’s working on it, possibly for the next update if there’s time.

The Devs finally gave some info regarding the new 5* Relics coming in Version 1.33.  They said there will be a new Guardian 5* and a new Champion 5*.  They also said (for the first time) that they will continue releasing 2 more new ones with each major update until each Class has TWO 5* Relics.

The Devs mentioned upcoming changes to the 500 Divine Gem Altar (maybe in Version 1.33).  They said they were planning on removing ALL of the Titan XP Potions, and “making it better overall”.  They also mentioned possibly changing the 10,000 DG Altar to make it “more exclusive” (Note: better Titans, I’m guessing).

NEXT WEEK:

TUESDAY:  There will be a “RELIC FESTIVAL”.  The Devs said it would be “interesting” and “Void themed, kind of”.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7:  There will be a CONQUEST Event.

IN TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, June 10:  There should be a “TITANS UNLEASHED” Event (also known as a TITAN FUSION Event).

TUESDAY, JUNE 11:  There will be a THEATERS OF WAR Event.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12:  The Devs said they would be talking during the June 12 LiveStream about a “cool, new female Titan coming out” on the following day (JUNE 13).  They hinted that they were “trying out something a little bit different” with the June 13 Titan.  The Devs went on to hint that it wouldn’t be a “recognizable” Titan, so it sounds like it will NOT a real-life mythological God.  Matt said it is “one of (his) favorite looking Titans, outside of the Gods”.  No further information was given, other than the Devs saying she “looks lit” - which, in the past, has been a hint that it will be a fire-based Titan.

THURSDAY, JUNE 13:  Event featuring a “brand new Titan” that the Devs were hinting about during this week’s Stream.  Haig said it would be “a big time Event” and “a really good one”.
