EVENT DETAILS:
This week’s Event will be called BROKEN EARTH. It will begin on THURSDAY, AUGUST 8 (around 3:30 pm BST) and run until MONDAY, AUGUST 12 (around 3:30 am BST).

Titan Details:
This week’s Event features the return of KOLDAN, the Earth (Ragnar) Champion. KOLDAN has been newly reskilled. The old KOLDAN was a very basic “classic” Champion Titan, with two Tier I Titan Defense Skills, two Tier II Titan Defense Skills and one Tier III Titan Defense Skill. KOLDAN’s new Skills boost his own offensive and defensive capabilities in addition to boosting the strength of Goliaths and Archers - giving him the equivalent of four Titan X Skills and four Troop X Skills. (Note: All of KOLDAN’s Skills are “fixed”).
KOLDAN’s new SKILLS:
Slot 1: +40% All Troop Damage AND +40% All Troop Health
Slot 2: +88% Titan Armor AND +88% Goliath Armor
Slot 3: +180% Titan Earth Damage AND +225% Archer Damage
Slot 4: +117% Titan Health AND +117% Goliath Health
Slot 5: +88% Titan Armor Piercing AND +110% Archer Armor Piercing
KOLDAN will be available for 15k Souls.
(NOTE: Koldan will also provide the Top Soul Boost for the upcoming Egyptian Event. The screen said he would “provide the Top Soul Boost” and Haig said he would be “THE top Boost Titan”, but Matt said he would be “ONE OF the top Soul Boost Titans” - so a little mixed messaging there).

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:
Question (Q) from a Player: What’s the point of doing an Event if hackers will just cheat?
Answer (A) from a Developer: We have enhanced our cheating detection. There haven’t been any real cheaters the past couple of Events other than those that were removed before the end of the Event.
Q: We’d LOVE to have Conquest Events begin on Thursdays instead of Fridays.
A: Conquest is kind of tuned to a 3 day schedule, but we are thinking about introducing other stuff to do midweek which we will talk about in a future LiveStream.
Q: When will we get to see some of the Design A Titan results?
A: We have to comb through the entries we’ve received, but we should be able to share some of them soon. We’ve had over 800 submissions so far - which is double what they had in the Design A Relic competition. The contest ends today, by the way, so get your ideas to us!
Q: Has the 4* Frost Shield with Void Resist added to battle drops?
A: Yes. It’s not a super high drop rate, but it’s in there. (Note from SteelSpine: I’ve spoken with a few people about this - it does seem like only Physical, Earth and Lightning Frost Shields are dropping.. but the Devs say there isn’t a problem. Hopefully they will double check).
Q: We also need 4* Kite Shields with Ice and Void Resist.
A: They do all actually exist.
Q: Is there an Event coming up where we can use all of our old Boost Relics?
A: YES - on Monday (see details below).
Q: Can we get a setting to lower the quality of graphics on older devices to help them run smoother?
A: The game automatically adjusts settings based on which device you are using.
Q: Conquest was quite difficult this time.
A: Haig: “It’s meant to be”. Matt: “I don’t know if it was because we added new Levels and it was getting used to the tactics required, but people were talking about it and sharing videos about how to defeat certain Levels, which is what we like to see”.
Q: Corrupted Skeletons were too hard to kill, though.
A: Matt: “They haven’t actually changed from the previous Conquest Event - but I’ll look into it”. Haig: “was that because we buffed the ...” (at this point, Matt spoke louder and cut Haig off, then moved on to answer a different question).
Q: Storm Maidens were really tough, too.
A: Dom: “Maybe it was just really difficult”. Haig: “We’ll look into it”.
Q: What happened to Battle Frenzy Events? Bring them back!
A: We hit a problem with that Event that we haven’t been able to address yet - but good shout. We will write that down.
Q: When is Minotaur coming back?
A: Not anytime soon.
Q: Please fix the Barracks to show Troop buffs again.
A: We could look into bringing that back, but it would be a bit of work. We removed it because it seemed a bit weird at the time. We thought with the change you could see the original stats at the Barracks, and then see the buffed stats at the battle screen - but if everyone wants it back we can look into that.
Q: When will the Altar of Plenty return?
A: Maybe about a month from now.
Q: Where are those new “Relic XP” Forging Relics??
A: Hopefully we can tell you more about that next week...

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:
The Devs announced that they would be giving two weeks worth of scheduling during each LiveStream from now on, in response to feedback that they received from the community. (Note from SteelSpine: I have changed the “NEXT WEEK” section of the Recap to “NEXT TWO WEEKS”. Any info the Devs give us will be put there, as always).

The Devs revealed some of the things we can expect from Dawn of Titans’ next Version (v1.34), which should be released “in a few weeks”. Upcoming changes will include: more new Conquest levels, Damage Vs Titan Skills will be removed and retroactively changed, the cost to refresh your Neutral Lands will be changed from Food/Corn to Gold, new 4* Economy Relics will be added to the game, and “hopefully” a change to Titans to fix (or improve) their issues with walking in circles. The Devs also said they are looking at possibly reducing training times for All Troops.

NEXT TWO WEEKS:
MONDAY, AUGUST 12: There will be “mini Leaderboard Event” built around Relics, similar to the last few midweek Events.
The Devs gave some limited info about this Event. Top prizes will include:
4* Bone Sword (Horde Dmg, Critical and AP) at 6k Souls
4* Daggers of Sacrifice (Titan Void Dmg, Horde Dmg, Horde AP) at 8k
4* Death’s Grasp (Horde Critical, Horde Lightning Resist, Horde Physical Resist) at 10k
4* VOID REMNANT (Titan Health, Horde Void Resist, Imperials Void Resist) at 12k Souls (This is a NEW Relic, and it will be the Top Prize for this Event).
ALL BOOST RELICS will work for this Event - so dig up all your old, unused Event Relics! (NOTE from SteelSpine: The Devs said the “Void Remnant” Relic “will tie in nicely with the Sobek Event” - so it SOUNDS LIKE Sobek COULD BE a Horde and Imperial boosting Titan. This is ONLY SPECULATION on my part, though).
THURSDAY, AUGUST 15: The next Egyptian God will make his debut in an Event. His name is SOBEK, and he will be a Void Paladin. (Note from SteelSpine: The Devs said they would not discuss SOBEK’s Skills until next week - but all of the previous Egyptian Gods have been Spell Boosting Titans, so I *think* SOBEK may be the same. Based on what we know about SOBEK being the God of Strength, Power and Military Prowess, he MAY be a Rage Spell booster - BUT THAT IS JUST A GUESS by me. The Devs have NOT revealed ANY info as of right now). (EDIT AUGUST 8: From videos and screenshots I’ve seen, it does NOT appear that Sobek will be a Spell Booster. It looks like he will be a Horde/Imperial booster with multiple Elemental Resistances instead. Sorry for the bad guess, all!)
MONDAY, AUGUST 19: There will be another TITANS UNLEASHED Event (also known as a TITAN FUSION EVENT). It will be Paladin themed, but remember - ALL “same-class to same-class” Fusion provides the SAME boost to gained Titan XP.
