I AM *VERY* SORRY FOR THE DELAY in getting this typed up and posted today!  I have a lot going on in my personal life right now, so I wasn’t home to watch the Stream until hours 7 hours after it ended on Wednesday.  I know it’s only the second time in 1+ years that I had to delay production of the Recap, but I still feel badly about being late - especially since this week’s LiveStream was the big Third Anniversary Special.

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will be called REBORN.  It will begin on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12 and run until MONDAY, DECEMBER 16.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the “rebirth” of RUNA.  RUNA has been reintroduced as a 4* Physical (Human) Paladin Titan, with a freshly upgraded - and pretty unique - set of fixed Skills.  She has the ability to Summon three Omega Militia AND three Omega Archer units, grants ALL Human Troops +234% Health and +360% Damage, and has a handful of other Titan and Troop Resistances and Skills.

4* RUNA’s new SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +117% Titan Health, +30% Titan Melee Resist

Slot 2:  +234% Human Troop Health, +3 Summon Omega Militia Spells

Slot 3:  +88% Titan Armor, +40% Titan Ranged Resist

Slot 4:  +360% Human Troop Damage, +3 Summon Omega Archers Spells

Slot 5:  +40% Titan and Troop All Elemental Resist

(NOTE:  Omega Militia units have +50% Troops per Formation (which adds +50% Health and Damage) and deal 5x Charge Damage.  Omega Archers units have +30% Critical, +50% Armor Piercing, +40% Movement Speed, but have -60% Health compared to regular Archers.  These Stats were copied from the LiveStream).

RUNA will be available for 18k Souls.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  Can you remove the “out of date” Titans from the Free 4* Titan Anniversary Giveaway?  Titans who, like Segunga, are 1-2 years old and haven’t been updated?

Answer (A) from a Developer:  “Um.  Probably not, to be honest”.  “Part of the idea is that every Titan is in there, basically”.  “Just hope your luck is in and you don’t get Segunga”.  “You never know, though - some of those Titans might be useful in the future”.

Q:  How about some new loading screens?

A:  They aren’t really a high priority right now, but we’ll take a look.  Do you want new text, or new images?  If it’s new text, we can do that..  if you want images, that would take longer.  The images take up a lot of memory, too.  (Note:  If you have a strong feeling about this, comment on Facebook or send a message to the Devs.  It can’t hurt to get some new info on the in-game screens, like info about resistance caps and stuff like that).

Q:  Please do something about end-of-season hackers.

A:  We added some more anti-cheat stuff in Version 1.36.

Q:  How many DGs does the Eternal Shrine give?

A: “It gives different, varying amounts”.  “Random”.

Q:  When will Minotaur be in another Event?

A:  Sometime next year.

Q:  How about a Medusa Titan?

A:  We looked into it, but we can’t get the snakes on her head to move.  Without that, I don’t think we’ll do a Medusa Titan.

Q:  WILL WE NEED THE NEW VERSION - V1.36 - FOR THE WINTER EVENTS NEXT WEEK (Winter Bone Dregs, etc)?

A:  YES, so when it rolls out next week be sure to download it.

Q:  Please make the “Flame Icon” a deeper and brighter red color, to indicate when somebody is capturing a Land rather than attacking it.  (Note:  GREAT idea!).

A:  That’s a good suggestion!  We’ll look into it.

Q:  How about a Troop Health Spell?

A:  We thought about doing that, but the main issue is how it would effect battalion (Formation) type units.  They obviously die over time, so it would have to be a “Revive Spell” - which is actually more difficult to do...  (Note:  The Devs didn’t really answer this, other than to say how hard it would be).

Q:  Will the newest Void Titans (and Huntress & Oni) be in the “Free 4* Anniversary Giveaway Altar”?

A:  Every single 4* Titan in the game will be available in that Altar - except for Runa, because her Event won’t be over yet.

Q:  When is a Zeus Event coming?

A:  Zeus will be in an Event “very early” next year.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs said Version 1.36 started rolling out to some players this morning (Wednesday).  They said this will be another slow rollout, like the last update - but all players *should* get the update by sometime next week.  There is also a new post on the Official DoT Blog listing all of the changes in v1.36; a quick Google search will connect you to it if you’d like to take a look.

The Devs shared an updated picture of the progress they’ve made on the “Design A Titan” contest’s winning entry, “Baba Yaga”.  They said she will be available in an Event “very early in the new year”.

NEXT WEEK:

MONDAY, 16 DECEMBER:  The Winter version of the “Bone Dregs Castle Quests” will begin.  Matt said it will run for three weeks, and we’ll have four weeks in total to spend our “Winter Dregs”.  New quests will arrive each Monday, just like during Halloween.  NOTE:  YOU WILL NEED VERSION 1.36 TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DREG QUESTS, so be sure to download it when it is available!

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17:  An “Altar of Plenty” Event Begins.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  (NOTE:  The Devs said it “might be a Refrigera-taur type Event”, which - if my memory serves - was a joke used on an older LiveStream when they talked about names for the Ice / Elithen version of Minotaur.  So we might see a “Frosttaur” or something like that next week, but that is *ONLY SPECULATION* by me).
