EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event is called MAIDEN OF WAR.  It will begin on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 and run until MONDAY, OCTOBER 7.  It is a CONQUEST Event.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the debut of HELGA, the Lightning Guardian.

HELGA’s SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +50% Titan and Troop Lightning Damage, +20% Titan and Troop Ranged Resist

Slot 2:  +180% Storm Maiden Damage, +65% Lightning Storm Damage

Slot 3:  +117% Imperial Health, +30% Imperial Melee Resist

Slot 4:  +88% Storm Maiden Armor Piercing, +22% Storm Maiden Critical

Slot 5:  +88% Imperial Armor, +40% Imperial Ranged Resist

As always during Conquest, there will be 3 guaranteed Battle Drops after every successful attack.

CONQUEST is an INDIVIDUAL, or SOLO, LEADERBOARD EVENT.  Prizes will be awarded to Players according to their Individual Ranking at the end of the Event.  Top Ranking Rewards in this Event include:

1st Place:  Level 50 Helga

2nd Place:  L40 Helga

3rd Place:  L30 Helga

Top 4-5:  L25 Helga

Top 6-10:  L20 Helga

11-50:  L15 Helga

51-100:  L10 Helga

101-250:  L5 Helga

251-500:  Level 1 Helga

501-1000:  4* Viking Titan Token

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  Can you make the same race used during Conquest earn more points?  (Note from SteelSpine:  I think the asker meant can you give more points for using Goliaths on the Goliath Level, Maidens on the Maiden Level, etc - like a “Chosen Troop” feature, rather than a “Chosen Titan” feature).

Answer (A) from a Developer:  I don’t think we could do it for Troops, but we could probably do it for Titans.  Although, for Conquest, I don’t think it would be easy for us to do that either.

Q:  Any chance we can get a “Clear All” button on the screen where we add our Troops?

A:  YES, we will be adding that to the game.

Q:  Haig:  “Lots of people complaining that Bast is doing too much showboating”.

A:  Dom:  “What’s wrong with showboating?  That’s what cats do, man.  They show off”.

Q:  Can we get a fix for the “chat bouncing back” bug?  (This is in reference to the chat screen jumping downwards when a new comment is added to the chat).

A:  That’s on our list of things to do, so hopefully we will get to it soon and get a fix in for that.

Q:  Can we have an Earth Minotaur?

A:  (Devs all look at each other, shrug, and say in a very cheeky way):  “Maybe!”  “I don’t know..!”

Q:  Can we see our current Ranged and Melee Resistance numbers in the game?

A:  Yes, this is actually something we’re working on for Version 1.36.  We’ll be adding both stats to the Titan and Troop info pop-ups.

Q:  Can we get an “Attack” button alongside the “Stand Ground” button?

A:  It would be a challenge to do.  Usability wise, I don’t think that would work for us.

Q:  Are there Void Relics available in the Daily Altar?

A:  There are some Void Resist Relics in there, but I don’t think there are any actual Void Relics.  We haven’t updated that altar in a while - we’ll look into updating it.

Q:  Can you fix the problem with Panthers attacking imaginary ants, and not actually killing anything?

A:  That’s in our backlog.  It’s on our list of things to fix.

Q:  Can you add Human Troops to the predetermined pool of defenders on higher Level islands?

A:  That’s a great idea, actually.  Human Troops fit much better for certain Titans in the current Meta.  Maybe we can get it in for Version 1.36.

Q:  Where’s the fix for Titans walking in circles?

A:  That will be in Version 1.35.

Q:  Can we have a way to buy Divine Gems with regular Gems or with real life money?

A:  That’s not something we’re looking at doing.  We want them to be earned through playing the game - we don’t want players to just buy them.

Q:  Can we get a “Choose Your Own 5* Relic” Event?

A:  Matt:  “I don’t know how that would work”.  “We’ve had a lot of suggestions about ways to improve the Divine Shrines in the future, and we’ll continue to look at it”.

Q:  When is Zeus coming back?

A:  Haig:  “Keep your eyes open, and we’ll mention something..  hopefully soon”.

Q:  Whatever happened to the “Titan XP Bank” feature that was discussed a while ago?  (Note:  This was an idea that was suggested a while back, where XP gained while using a Level 60 Titan could be “banked” and transferred to another Titan).

A:  Matt:  “No, that won’t be happening soon.  I’m actually writing - or designing - a feature for something which might help with that in the future.  I wouldn’t call it a bank, but...”

Q:  How about an “Empty Titan XP Bottle”, which fills up when equipped to a maxed (Level 60) Titan?

A:  Haig:  “That’s... not impossible to do.  We could look at doing something like that.  We’ll ask an engineer and see if that’s possible”.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

VERSION 1.35:  The Devs mentioned that in addition to the changes announced last week (fix for Titans walking in circles, increased Forging from 4 Relics at a time to 12), there would be another big addition to the game:  Replayable single player campaigns.  According to Matt, the “repeatable campaigns in the Adventurers Guild” will include three campaigns, with four Levels in each campaign (for a total of twelve Levels each week).  At the beginning of each new in-game Season, the campaigns will refresh.  He said each set of campaigns will be related to an individual “faction” in the game (Ragnar, Mossmane, etc).  The recommended Castle Levels will run from Level 11 (on the early Levels) to Level 25 (on the highest Levels).  The Rewards for these campaigns will include 4* Economy Relics, Gems and Player XP.  Matt also said new Player Levels (beyond the current limit of Level 50) will be added in the future.

NOTE from SteelSpine:  I don’t think the Devs mentioned this during the LiveStream, but they have finally posted the “loot box chances” for the different Temple Altars in-game.  You can see the percentages for each Altar by tapping on the little lower-case “i” Icon on the top right hand corner of any of the Altars in the Temple.

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, 7 OCTOBER:  There will be a Guardian themed TITANS UNLEASHED / TITAN FUSION Event (Reminder for newer players:  During Titans Unleashed, ALL same-class to same-class Fusion provides the same big XP bonus.  The “theme” only affects which Titans are featured at the Temple).

MONDAY, 7 OCTOBER to 9 OCTOBER:  There will be another ASSAULT Event.  The Devs said this Assault will have a few changes.  Two new Levels will be added, as well as “smoother point scoring”.  Some changes have been made to reduce the game slowing down due to so many enemies being on the screen at one time, and the timer on each Level will be reduced to 3 minutes.  Matt also said that the Relic Shard XP will be increased when the Event goes live.  He said he couldn’t remember the exact numbers, but he thinks it will be somewhere around 80% to 90% more Forging XP.  (Note from SteelSpine:  I think most players will agree, this still is not NEARLY enough.  In order for Relic Shards to be worth the effort, the 3* and 4* Shards need to be worth *at least* 600% to 700% more than they were in the first Assault Event.  Having a 4* Shard be worth as much forging XP as four or five regular 4*s is just ridiculously low for an Event that costs $50++ to complete.  The Devs asked for feedback after the Assault Event, so if you feel as strongly as I do about the Forging XP (or any other aspect of Assault) PLEASE comment on the Dawn of Titans Facebook page and Twitter - and let your voice be heard!).

WEDNESDAY, 9 OCTOBER:  There will be a SPELLCRAFT Event.

THURSDAY, 10 OCTOBER:  Another Leaderboard Event takes place.  The Devs said this would be the next “-Taur Event” (Minotaur themed, like Oakentaur and Stormtaur), but they have not said which -Taur Titan it will be.

MONDAY, 14 OCTOBER to FRIDAY, 18 OCTOBER:  The Devs would not give details about what we can expect the week of the 14th, but they said this week would officially begin the “Halloween Phase”.  They said there would be a lot of things going on in the game, and things will begin on the 14th and continue to ramp up throughout the month.  We can expect more details during next week’s Stream.
