EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will be called CHILLING TERROR.  **It will begin and end one day later than normal**.  CHILLING TERROR begins around 2:00-3:00 pm BST on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25 and will end on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29.

This week’s Event features the debut of REAVER, the Void Ranger.

REAVER’s SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +40% Void Titan, Horde and Terror Damage.  +3 Terror Spells

Slot 2:  +360% Horde Damage, +71% Horde Critical

Slot 3:  +44% Archer Armor Piercing, +44% Archer Critical

Slot 4:  +176% Horde Armor Piercing, +30% Horde Melee Resist

Slot 5:  +110% Archer Armor Piercing, +225% Archer Damage

REAVER will be available for 16k Souls.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  When is a Horde Summoner coming?

Answer (A) from a Developer:  Dom:  “I don’t know, man”.  Matt:  “Ha ha ha!  Yes, the Horde Summoner!  I wonder when THAT will be!”  (All three Devs laugh together)  Dom:  “Maybe extremely, very soon!”.

Q:  Will Reaver offer a Soul Bonus in next week’s Halloween Event?

A:  Yes.  He’ll be the top Soul Boost next week.

Q:  Can I save my Bone Dregs for next year?

A:  Do NOT do that.  They won’t be used next year, so make sure you use them all up before they disappear for good.  You’ll have a couple of days after the Halloween Event ends to redeem them.  The Bone Dreg Altars will be gone forever on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, so make sure you use them all up before then!  (Note from SteelSpine:  The Devs also said that the special Halloween Castle Quests would remain active until November 8.  Matt said that after November 8, they will still be there - but you will only receive a very, very small Gem Reward for completing them instead of a Bone Dreg).

Q:  How about doing the LiveStream on Mondays, so Event Alliances have time to prepare and organize?

A:  Mondays are very busy for us.  Loads to do on Mondays.

Q:  Will Bast return soon?

A:  Not anytime soon, since she was just offered.

Q:  Can you make Grenadiers faster?

A:  I don’t think we’ll be speeding them up.  They are meant to be glass cannons.

Q:  Can you make Titan Fusion like Relics, where we can Fuse away 12 at one time?

A:  Maybe.  We can maybe look at that.  We’ll see how the Forging is working with the 12.

Q:  Are Hades or Almarand returning soon?

A:  They are in the Bone Dreg altar.

Q:  Can you stop fleeing troops?

A:  Dom:  “No you can’t.  They’re fleeing for a reason.  Probably getting wrecked”.  (Note:  I think this question was about the Goliaths that run to the edge of the map, but the Devs missed it).

Q:  Please look into the issues with chat messages disappearing.

A:  We’ll check it out.

Q:  Can we get an “all old boost Relic” Event (where we can use all of our leftover Event Relics)?

A:  Oh yeah.  One of those is coming up really soon, but I don’t know the exact date.

Q:  Will we ever get an Ares Titan?

A:  “Ares?  Who is that?”

Q:  We need more Void Resist Relics!

A:  There are a few more debuting in the coming weeks.

Q:  Can you get rid of the Forging animation?

A:  We can’t do that because that’s when the game is contacting the servers.

Q:  Is the Void Element the last Element in the game?  Or will there be more?

A:  Haig:  “Never say never.  As it is right now, it’s the...  ...most recent Element in the game”.  Dom:  “There will be no new Elements within this year”.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs mentioned last week’s issue with Calvarax’s Skills (where two of the Raise Dead Skeleton Skills were listed as FIXED on the official DoT blog, but were actually RANDOM once you received him in-game).  They said that just like their LiveStream, anything posted on their blog is “subject to change”.  (Note from SteelSpine:  This doesn’t explain why the blog was posted AT THE SAME TIME as the Event going live.  If the Skills were changed, it should have been reflected on the blog).

Wednesday’s LiveStream was delayed because the Devs found a bug in Version 1.35 and had to halt the update, fix the issue, and resubmit a NEW update to iOS and Android (hence Version 1.35.1).  This is also the reason we’re getting a delayed start on this week’s Event.

According to the Devs, Version 1.35.1 has gone out live to all countries on both Apple and Android devices - so it SHOULD be available in your App Store or Google Play right now.  You will need the update to participate in this week’s Event, so be sure to download it.

The Devs said that during this week’s Reaver Event, we will start to see some game lore appear.  (Game lore is the story told in the game via the “Message of the Day” prompts).  This will help set the stage for the Halloween Event, which will begin on October 31 (Halloween Day).  Matt also said that when the Lore starts popping up, “something else” will start happening in the game.  Haig said “keep your eyes peeled, some of you will definitely notice it” - to which Matt said “yeah, some of you will be like ‘that’s cool’ - but some of you will be like ‘ugh, I don’t like that’.” (Followed by the Devs laughing).

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

TUESDAY, 29 OCTOBER:    There will be another one of those “Mini Relic Events”, with a Solo/Individual Leaderboard.  No information regarding which Relics will be featured or what the theme will be.  Relics available in this Event will include:  a Titan XP Relic, Bone Dregs, Divine Gems, 4* Cursed Ring, 4* Cursed Mask, 4* Cursed Hammer and 4* Doom Pauldrons.  Top Individual Ranking Rewards will include Divine Gems.  This Event will run for 48 hours, ending just before the big Halloween Event.

WEDNESDAY, 30 OCTOBER:  There will be a TROOPCRAFT Event (discounts on Troop Training and Troop Upgrades).

THURSDAY, 31 OCTOBER:  The Grand Finale of this Halloween’s “THE FALLEN” storyline will commence.  The only thing we know for sure as of right now is that it *appears to be* an Egyptian God Titan, based on the silhouette picture that was released on DoT’s Social Media pages earlier this month.  (Note from SteelSpine:  There have also been hints given that this MAY BE the long-awaited Horde Summoner - but this is ONLY SPECULATION.  At the end of today’s Stream, Matt said “you guys will get exactly what you’ve been asking for for months” - which certainly sounds like a Horde Summoner to me).

MONDAY, 4 NOVEMBER:  There will be a TITANS UNLEASHED Event (also known as a TITAN FUSION EVENT).  It will be Berserker themed.  (Reminder for newer players:  During Titans Unleashed, ALL same-class to same-class Fusion provides the same big XP bonus.  The “theme” only affects which Titans are featured at the Temple).

SOMETIME AROUND 4 NOVEMBER - 6 NOVEMBER:  There will be a RELIC FESTIVAL (Temple Event).

THURSDAY, 7 NOVEMBER:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  No info on what we can expect.

FRIDAY, 8 NOVEMBER:  The Bone Dreg Altars disappear forever.  Make sure you use up your Dregs before this day!
