The Devs cancelled this week’s LiveStream at the last minute, so this is not a typical Recap.  I decided to take all of the information the Devs posted on their Blog - in addition to the info we already had concerning the next two weeks - and put it into an easily sharable post.  Hopefully we will have another regularly scheduled Stream next week.

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event is called HALLOW’S EVE.  It began on OCTOBER 17 and will end on MONDAY, OCTOBER 21.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the return of two Halloween favorites:  CALVARAX, the Ice Ranger and ASTAROTH, the Earth Paladin.  Both Titans have been given fresh Skills; CALVARAX now has three Skills that greatly improve the effectiveness of Skeletons that arise from the “RAISE DEAD” Spell and two Imperial Defense X Skills, while ASTAROTH has been granted Skills that boost his own defenses and the defenses of Goliath Troops.

CALVARAX’s new SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +40% Raise Dead Skeleton Resist Against All Elements

Slot 2:  +117% Imperials Health

Slot 3:  Raise Dead Skeleton X Skill (NOT FIXED - see below!)

Slot 4:  +88% Imperials Armor

Slot 5:  Raise Dead Skeleton X Skill (NOT FIXED - see below!)

*** IMPORTANT UPDATED NOTE:  The Devs said on their blog that ALL of CALVARAX’s new Skills are FIXED/Guaranteed.  HOWEVER, I have seen screenshots today that show Skills in Slot 3 and Slot 5 that are DIFFERENT from what is shown on the DoT Blog.  It LOOKS LIKE Calvarax can roll either +225% Damage, +146% Health, Armor or Armor Piercing in Slots 3 and 5.  I’m not sure of the numbers for the Armor or AP Skills, but they start at +65% so I THINK they max out at +88% like a normal X Skill.  I have not seen any screenshots with any other Skills, but there could be other possible Skill rolls, as well. ***  Special thanks to Titus and WiSKEY for being the first to bring this to my attention.

(ALSO:  For reference - The OLD Calvarax had three Random Skeleton Skills; one Tier I, one Tier II and one Tier III.  They were each capable of rolling either an Offensive or a Defensive Skill.  If you rolled a Raise Dead Damage Skill on the OLD version of Calvarax, you would have received either +60%, +72% or +90% Damage for your Raise Dead Skeletons depending on which Slot you got the Skill in - compared to +225% on the new Calvarax.  Likewise, if you rolled a Health Skill on the OLD version of Calvarax, you would have been given +36%, +44% or +58% Health for your Raise Dead Skeletons - compared to +146% now.  In addition, the OLD Calvarax had one Imperial Offensive Tier I Skill and one Imperial Defensive Tier II Skill).

ASTAROTH’s new SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +35% Titan and Goliath All Elemental Resist

Slot 2:  +44% Titan and Goliath Dual Resist (Void and One Other Element)

Slot 3:  +44% Titan and Goliath Dual Resist (Lightning and One Other Element)

Slot 4:  +117% Titan and Goliath Health

Slot 5:  +88% Titan and Goliath Armor

(NOTE:  All of ASTAROTH’s Skills are FIXED/Guaranteed, EXCEPT FOR the second Resistance in Slot Two and Slot Three).

(ALSO:  For reference, all of Astaroth’s OLD Skills were Titan Skills, similar to a “classic DoT Paladin”.  His old Skills included one +60% Titan Fire Resist Skill, two +44% Titan Dual Resist Skills, one +58% Titan Health III Skill and one +44% Titan Armor III Skill).

New Relic available in this Event:  

4* CURSED AXE

+ Goliath Armor

+ Goliath Health

+ Goliath Resist Against Ranged

(NOTE:  Unfortunately, the Devs did NOT share stat numbers for this Relic.  If I had to GUESS, I *think* a Level 10 Cursed Axe will probably have around 30% Armor, 40% Health and 18%-24% Ranged Resist, but that is ONLY A GUESS - I could be really, really wrong, so don’t be too upset if I am way off base :-) ).

You can find all of the Stats for all of the other Relics featured in this week’s Event at dotdatabase.net .  One note for newer Players who have not seen Calvarax’s Relics before:  The 4* versions of the Ancestral Heart, Blood Vial and Skeleton Ring each grant +3 free Raise Dead Spells.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs gave a very short update on the progress of DoT’s next update (Version 1.35).  There really isn’t any new info here that hasn’t been in previous versions of the Recap, but I figured I’d share it anyway for those who haven’t heard the details yet.  The following is copied word-for-word from their blog:

New Update - 1.35:

Our new update has almost arrived – we’ll have more details in next week’s Livestream, but look out for the new version hitting app stores soon. This update features:

Relic Forging now allows for up to 12 Relics to be used per Forge.

New adventures coming soon to the Adventurer’s Guild.

Improvements to Titans walking in circles during battle.

Halloween and Holiday season Titans and Relics.

Bug fixes, including fix for Relic effects not applying to certain Garrison battles.

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, 21 OCTOBER:  An “Undead Themed” THEATERS OF WAR Event begins.  It will run until WEDNESDAY, 23 OCTOBER.

WEDNESDAY, 23 OCTOBER:  There will be a CONSTRUCTION FRENZY Event (discount on building upgrades).

THURSDAY, 24 OCTOBER:  Another HALLOWEEN EVENT begins.  The only thing we know for sure is that it will feature a new Titan.  (Note:  Matt’s only hint regarding this Event was that it would be “a new guy”).

MONDAY, 28 OCTOBER:  There will be another one of those “Mini Relic Events”, with a Solo/Individual Leaderboard.  No information regarding which Relics will be featured or what the theme will be.

WEDNESDAY, 30 OCTOBER:  There will be a TROOPCRAFT Event (discounts on Troop Training and Troop Upgrades).

THURSDAY, 31 OCTOBER:  The Grand Finale of this Halloween’s “THE FALLEN” storyline will commence with the annual Halloween Event.  The only things we know for sure as of right now is that it will be an Alliance Event, and it *appears to be* an Egyptian God Titan (based on the silhouette picture that was released on DoT’s Social Media pages earlier this month).
