Matt (Game Designer) and Dom (Game Artist) were our hosts for this week’s LiveStream.  Haig (Live Ops Manager) was not on the Stream today - he was “in the middle of moving”.

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will be called THE REBIRTH OF OSIRIS.  It will begin on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 (around 2:00-3:00 pm GMT) and run until MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the long-awaited debut of DoT’s first-ever Omega Horde Summoner:  OSIRIS.  OSIRIS is also the first 4* Void Berserker.  He has the unique ability to Summon Omega Horde Troops to the battlefield.  Omega Horde have +20% more Damage than regular Horde Troops and deal 9x Charge Damage (instead of the usual 6x), but are penalized with -25% Health and -25% Troop Count (in other words, they have 1/4 as many individual Troops per Formation).

OSIRIS’ SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +36% Horde Critical, +36% Raise Dead Skeleton Critical, +1 Summon Omega Horde Spell

Slot 2:  +234% Horde Damage, +58% Raise Dead Skeleton Damage, +1 Raise Dead Spell

Slot 3:  +360% Horde Damage, +225% Raise Dead Skeleton Critical (SEE NOTE BELOW), +2 Summon Omega Horde Spells

Slot 4:  +176% Horde Armor, +44% Raise Dead Skeleton Armor, +1 Raise Dead Spell

Slot 5:  +176% Horde Armor Piercing, +110% Raise Dead Skeleton Armor Piercing, +2 Summon Omega Horde Spells

**NOTE:  Matt was confused by the “+225% Raise Dead Skeleton Critical” in Slot 3.  It almost certainly is NOT correct - that skill probably should be Damage or Health.  He said he will check into it before the Event begins on Thursday, so don’t be surprised if this Skill and perhaps one of the other Skills have changes made to them - it makes no sense to have Critical above 100%.**

ALSO:  All of Osiris’ Skills will be FIXED.

OSIRIS will be available for 20k Souls.

It will be an ALLIANCE LEADERBOARD EVENT (also known as an Alliance War Event); prizes will be awarded to all Players in an Alliance according to their Alliance Ranking at the end of the Event.

3rd Place:  L25 Osiris

Top 4-5:  L15 Osiris

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

Question (Q) from a Player:  Can we get a “delete button” in the Treasury Room for Spells and Troops?

Answer (A) from a Developer:  That’s a pretty decent idea.  (Note from SteelSpine:  This is SORELY NEEDED now that all overflow goes to the Treasury.  Having to delete Spells just to collect and delete MORE spells is stupid).

Q:  Will Starter Packs be available in this Event?

A:  I think so.  (NOTE:  This was later confirmed by the Devs - there will be a boost pack available).

Q:  Will the next Relic Leaderboard Event also be able to use all of our older Event Boost Relics?

A:  Haig would have to answer that, and he’s not here.  (Note from SteelSpine:  Since the mini Relic Event that began on October 29 accepts all older Relics, I kind of doubt we will see another one any time soon).

Q:  What happened to today’s Troopcraft Event?

A:  Dom:  “Not today.  Not today”.  (Note from SteelSpine:  I think they just forgot about it, to be honest).

Q:  Titans are still walking in a circle.

A:  Dom:  “Which Titans?”

Q:  Will the sixth Titan Skill Slot ever open up?

A:  Dom:  “What a coincidence you would ask that...”

Q:  Can you put Relic and Titan Spells on different timers in the next update?

A:  We’re looking into possibly making two changes to defenses.  The first one is the amount of “stationed Troops” (base defenders) on Lands.  The second is how often and how frequently the defense will cast Spells.

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

The Devs briefly mentioned that they are now working on Version 1.36.  They said they will reveal more in the coming weeks, but v1.36 will include the other two new 5* Relics, an update for battle drops and improved defenses (including some sort of a change to the way Spells work on defense).  They also said they are looking into the chat issues players are having.

REMINDER:  The Bone Dreg Altar and Bone Dreg Castle Quests will end on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8.  Any Dregs not used before then will disappear, and the Bone Dreg Altar will be removed from the temple.  Any Castle Quests left unfinished will still be available to complete, but will have their rewards changed to “a very small amount of Gems”.

The Devs mentioned that Chris - who usually helps run the LiveStreams, and has participated in a few Streams when other Devs couldn’t make it - is leaving DoT for another job.  This doesn’t effect the game directly, but I thought players might like to know.

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, 4 NOVEMBER:  There will be a TITANS UNLEASHED Event (also known as a TITAN FUSION EVENT).  It will be Berserker themed.  (Reminder for newer players:  During Titans Unleashed, ALL same-class to same-class Fusion provides the same big XP bonus.  The “theme” only affects which Titans are featured at the Temple).

TUESDAY, 5 NOVEMBER:  There will be a RELIC FESTIVAL (Temple Event).  No further info given.

FRIDAY, 8 NOVEMBER:  There will be a CONQUEST EVENT.  This one will feature the return of URKON.  (ALSO:  The Bone Dreg Altars disappear forever.  Make sure you use up your Dregs before this day!)

MONDAY, 11 NOVEMBER:  There will be another Individual Leaderboard Relic Event.

THURSDAY, 14 NOVEMBER:  There will be another Alliance Leaderboard Event.  No further details given.
