There isn’t much point in calling this a “NOSTREAM” Recap, since there’s No Stream every week now.  So for the time being, it’s just a Recap.  :-)

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will begin on THURSDAY, MARCH 26 and run until MONDAY, MARCH 30.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the debut of TOTEC.  TOTEC is the first in a new series of unique Titans: the War Gods.  He has three brand-new “INVOKE” Skills, two of which activate upon the death of an enemy unit and one of which activates when an enemy Summons an Omega Troop.

TOTEC’S SKILLS:

Slot 1:  INVOKE SKILL: “FLAYER” (On each enemy death, +30% Troop Armor Piercing).  +88% Imperials Armor Piercing.  +88% Grenadiers Armor Piercing.

Slot 2:  +88% Titan Armor Piercing.  +88% Imperials Armor (NOTE:  The Imperial effect is doubled to +176% Imperials Armor when DEFENDING with TOTEC).

Slot 3:  INVOKE SKILL: “SACRIFICE” (On each Enemy death, 20% chance to Summon an Omega Imperial).  +44% Grenadiers Critical.  +117% Imperials Health.

Slot 4:  +180% Titan Damage.  +180% Grenadiers Damage (NOTE:  The Grenadiers effect is doubled to +360% Grenadiers Damage when ATTACKING with TOTEC).

Slot 5:  INVOKE SKILL: “APOCALYPSE” (On enemy Summon, TOTEC casts “APOCALYPSE” on them).  +100% Fire Spell Damage.  +180% Imperials Damage.

(NOTE:  If the Skill in Slot 3 is confusing, think of it this way:  Every time an enemy Troop (or Titan) dies, you will have a one in five chance to automatically Summon an Omega Imperial unit you your army.  It LOOKS LIKE this applies on defense AND on offense).

(ALSO:  The Devs did NOT give ANY details regarding what “Apocalypse” is.  It SOUNDS TO ME like it MAY be some sort of an altered super powerful version of the Meteor Strike or Fireball Spell, which gets cast automatically on enemy Omega Troops as soon as they are Summoned - but this is ONLY SPECULATION.  We’ll have to wait and see what it does.  **THIS IS WHY WE NEED A LIVESTREAM - OR AT LEAST A REDDIT Q&A SESSION - EACH WEEK, DEVS**).

TOTEC will be available for 20k Souls.

TUESDAY, 31 MARCH to WEDNESDAY, 1 APRIL:  An INDIVIDUAL RELIC LEADERBOARD EVENT.  This one is called “Instruments of War”.  No further info was given.

THURSDAY, 2 APRIL:  Another ALLIANCE LEADERBOARD EVENT begins.  This one will be called “Avalos Returns” - and I’d be willing to bet it features the return of Avalos, the Ice Guardian.  :-)

(NOTE:  The old version of Avalos had two Imperial Defensive X Skills and two Grenadiers Offensive X Skills.  He is SUPER WEAK in the current Meta, so I would be very, very surprised if he wasn’t heavily reskilled for this Event).

MONDAY, 6 APRIL to WEDNESDAY, 8 APRIL:  A THEATERS OF WAR Event.  No information regarding what the theme will be.

THURSDAY, 9 APRIL:  An ALLIANCE LEADERBOARD EVENT begins.  No details given, but the Official Blog said “TBC”.  (I have no clue what TBC means).

Hi, all,

Sorry for the delay in putting this Recap out.  Like most of you, I’ve been pretty busy making Coronavirus preps for my family (we live right outside New York City), and I almost didn’t bother writing one up since there is SO LITTLE info to share.  In the end, I decided to type it up to make the Weekly Schedule a bit easier to share on Social Media (and because quite a few players contacted me asking why I didn’t write a Recap this week).

There will likely be VERY brief Recaps over the next few weeks (or maybe months?).  This is out of my hands - the Devs are apparently working from home during the Coronavirus outbreak, and they (unfortunately) have decided that DoT and it’s Players aren’t important enough to them to bother doing a minimized Live Stream (or even a weekly Reddit “Ask Me Anything” / Q&A session) from their houses in the meantime.  Hopefully this will change in the future if this crisis lasts a long time - but I’m not holding my breath, hehe.

EVENT DETAILS:

Since this week’s Event is already live (and there are no new Titans or Relics to report on), I haven’t included info for this weekend’s “WORLDS COLLIDE” Event.  HOWEVER, next week’s “early” Conquest Event DOES have some new stuff in it - so you’ll find those details below.

CHERNOBOG CONQUEST EVENT DETAILS:

The Chernobog Conquest Event will begin on MONDAY, MARCH 23 and will run until THURSDAY, MARCH 26.  (NOTE:  This marks a departure from the normal “end of week” Conquest Events; we will have to see whether or not this becomes routine in the coming months).

Titan Details:

Monday’s Conquest Event features CHERNOBOG, the Ice Guardian.  CHERNOBOG has been RESKILLED for this Event.  His ORIGINAL Skills (when he was first introduced in the Divine Gems Altar) included three Tier II Elemental Resistance Skills for Imperials and two Storm Maiden Offensive X Skills.  His new Skills, while similar, appear to be much more useful in the current Meta.

CHERNOBOG’s new SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +117% Imperials Health, +30% Imperial Melee Resist

Slot 2:  +90% Imperials Void Resist, +90% Imperials Lightning Resist

Slot 3:  +88% Imperials Armor, +40% Imperial Ranged Resist

Slot 4:  +117% Titan Health, +180% Storm Maiden Damage

Slot 5:  +88% Titan Armor, +88% Storm Maiden Armor Piercing

(NOTE:  The Blog listed the Skill in Slot 3 as “Tier III”.  There hasn’t been a Tier III Elemental Resist Skill on a Titan in a long, long time, but I THINK it has traditionally been +90%).

CHERNOBOG will be available at Level 10 of the Conquest Event.

(NOTE from SteelSpine:  The Devs did NOT provide numbers for this Relic on their Blog post.  If I had to guess, I would think it would be somewhere around 50/30/20 or 50/40/20, something like that).

Unfortunately, we have no other information available regarding which other Relics or Titans will be available in the early week Conquest Event.  I would THINK that they would include a handful of Imperial and Maiden boosting Relics, but who knows anymore.  :-)

Since this is Conquest, there are no Titans that offer Bonus Souls.

As always during Conquest, there will be 3 guaranteed Battle Drops after every successful attack.

CONQUEST Events have traditionally been INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD EVENTs (also known as Solo War Events); prizes are usually awarded to individual Players according to their Individual Ranking at the end of the Event.  There isn’t any reason to believe this won’t be the cast for this Conquest.

DIVINE SHRINE UPDATE:

Changes are coming to the Divine Shrine by the end of next week (March 27/28). New content will be added, alongside some modifications to the Altars themselves.  Make sure to check the official Dawn of Titans Facebook page for updates.  (NOTE from SteelSpine:  I WILL write and post a new Recap next week as soon as new info is posted on the Official DoT Blog).

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, 23 MARCH to THURSDAY, 26 MARCH:  A CONQUEST EVENT will take place.  This Event will feature a newly reskilled version of CHERNOBOG, the Ice Guardian (and former Divine Shrine Titan), along with at least one new Relic.

THURSDAY, 26 MARCH:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  This one will be called “NEW GODS”.  (NOTE from SteelSpine:  Based on the name, I would be VERY surprised if we didn’t see another new Titan with “INVOKE” Skills, similar to Baba Yaga).

Quick note from me (SteelSpine):

The Devs ONCE AGAIN cancelled this week’s LiveStream.  Instead, they premiered a short “Dev Update” video on YouTube and posted this week’s Event Info on the Official Blog.  Their excuse this week was that COVID-19 (the Coronavirus) is preventing them from doing a Stream for the next FEW WEEKS - which is ridiculous, since they’ve been regularly cancelling Streams for a while now.  Seems like they have been looking for an excuse to stop these Streams for months, and Coronavirus is giving it to them.  (If the Devs truly give a damn about the players, there is NO WAY they can’t figure out how to take turns doing a solo LiveStream OR a Reddit “AMA” from home once per week - even if it’s just to answer a handful of questions).

I do my best to remain neutral, impartial and fair in these Recaps, but this is getting to be too much.  By cancelling the Stream over and over again, it denies the playerbase the opportunity to ask questions, see the new Titan and Relics in action (in real time, without being favorably edited) and bring in-game issues to the attention of the people who matter.  This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, and I really hope the Devs stop doing it.  Without a weekly opportunity to interact with the Developers, I fear that this game will suffer a quick death.  

This week’s Event is the most anticipated in the past six months.  In addition, there are serious issues in-game that need to be addressed - and we need answers regarding the new and upcoming features (Shards, Troop Meta Update, new 5* Relics, new Divine Altars, etc).  We all know how awful the in-game Support is - without a regular LiveStream, we’ll never get answers.

DEVS:  BRING BACK WEEKLY INTERACTIONS WITH YOUR PLAYERS.  You guys are brilliant.  FIND A WAY.

EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will be called FEAR AND FORTUNE.  It will begin on THURSDAY, MARCH 12 and run until MONDAY, MARCH 16.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the long-awaited debut of BABA YAGA, the Void Champion.  BABA YAGA was the winning design from last year’s “Design A Titan” contest, submitted by the player named TALON WARLOCK.  She features two “INVOKE” Skills, which appear to be the new Skill type that has been teased lately.  INVOKE Skills imbue some of your Troops with special properties when certain conditions are met (in the case of Baba Yaga, she grants extra Horde Damage and AP when you cast Raise Dead Spells - see below for info).

BABA YAGA’s SKILLS:

Slot 1 (INVOKE: Dark Command):  +180% Titan Damage, +300% Raise Dead Skeleton Damage, On each Raise Dead cast increase Horde Damage +25% (SEE BELOW)

Slot 2 (Baba Yaga’s Hatred X):  +88% Titan Armor Piercing, +176% Horde Armor, +1 Raise Dead Spell

Slot 3 (Baba Yaga’s Magic X):  +117% Titan Health, +234% Horde Health, +1 Raise Dead Spell

Slot 4 (Baba Yaga’s Resilience X):  +72% Horde Critical, +72% Raise Dead Critical, +2 Raise Dead Spells

Slot 5 (INVOKE: Bone Shards):  +30% Titan Melee Resist, +30% Horde Melee Resist, On each Raise Dead cast increase Horde Armor Piercing +25% (SEE BELOW)

(NOTE:  If the Skills in Slot 1 and 5 are confusing, think of it this way:  Each time you cast a RAISE DEAD Spell with a Level 1+ Baba Yaga, your Horde Troops will receive an additional +25% Damage.  In addition, once your Baba Yaga reaches Level 51 your Horde Troops will also receive an additional +25% Armor Piercing for each cast of a RAISE DEAD Spell).

TEASERS and OTHER INFORMATION:

NEW GOD TITANS are on their way.  These new Titans will have “INVOKE Skills”, similar to Baba Yaga, which according to the Devs will grant “wide-ranging abilities that change battles like never before”.

New content and new Altars are on their way to the Divine Shrine.  The changes should begin “in a couple of weeks”, but it may be a slow rollout (new Altars first, followed by changes to the old Altars, or something like that).

NEW UPCOMING EVENT TYPE:  The much-hyped new Event type (which will make its debut in DoT “very soon”) will be a “Raid Boss style mode”.  Essentially, players will get together with their Alliance mates to attack a “big boss”, for equally “big rewards”.  (Note from SteelSpine:  This sounds like it could potentially be a LOT of fun, especially for very active Alliances!  Something like this could give a much-needed boost to the social interaction in the game, if done properly.  I’m really looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.  GREAT idea, Devs!).

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, 16 MARCH:  A RELIC FESTIVAL Temple Event called “Babushka’s Curse”.  (10% discount on “Cursed Relics” from the Epic Relic Altar).

TUESDAY, 17 MARCH to THURSDAY, 19 MARCH:  A SOLO/INDIVIDUAL RELIC LEADERBOARD Event.  This one will be called “The Art of Archery”, and will feature the return of the 4* WILD ARROWS and 4* FOREST BOW Relics.  Divine Gems will be available as Event Ranking Rewards.  In addition: ALL of your older, unused Boost Relics will work for this Event.

THURSDAY, 19 MARCH:  A “CHOOSE YOUR TITAN” Leaderboard Event begins, which has been given the name “Worlds Collide”.  Participating Players can earn two special Tokens; one will allow you to choose either THOR or LOKI, and the other will give you a choice between ANUBIS or MINOTAUR.  Greek and Egyptian Relics will be in the Event Milestone Rewards, and Baba Yaga will provide a 1.4x Soul Boost.

(NOTE:  There was also supposed to be some sort of a “lucky themed free gift bundle” this week for Saint Patrick’s Day - but this was NOT mentioned on the DoT Blog, so this is up in the air).
