EVENT DETAILS:

This week’s Event will be called TUSK & HIDE.  It will begin on THURSDAY, JUNE 25 and run until MONDAY, JUNE 29.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the return of two “Boar” Titans:  SNOWGORE and FLAMEHIDE.  Both have been Reskilled for this Event.  Their original versions were “classic Champions”, with Skills that only boosted the Titan.  SNOWGORE now boosts the effectiveness Imperials, Freeze Spells and his own Stats, while FLAMEHIDE now boosts himself, Grenadiers and Fireball Spells.

SNOWGORE’s new SKILLS:

Slot 1:  +117% Titan, Troop Health.  +180% Titan Damage X.  +3 Freeze Spells.

Slot 2:  +200% Titan Armor Piercing.  +88% Imperial Armor.

Slot 3:  +117% Titan Health.  +44% Titan Critical.  +50% Freeze Spell Duration.  +50% Freeze Spell Radius.

Slot 4:  +30% Titan Melee Resist.  +117% Imperial Health

Slot 5:  +88% Titan Armor.  +50% Imperial Melee Resist.  +2 Freeze Spells.  +300% Freeze Spell Damage.

Prestige Skill (at Level 10):  +80% Base Titan Damage & Health.  +50% Titan Elemental Damage on Defense.  On Enemy Unit death, +10% Titan Damage & Armor (Max 5).

CHANGES TO BOOST RELICS:

The Devs have FINALLY done something about the “Conquest Relic” exploit, which has been allowing Players to enhance their attacking Troop Stats to ridiculous numbers for the last few months.  The following message was posted on the Official DoT Blog today:

“Recent community content, discussion, and feedback highlighted an issue with Conquest and Assault Boost Relics.

It was determined that a small number of players were using various hacks and exploits with these Relics when attacking other players to gain an unfair advantage.

With immediate effect, we have removed the Titan and Troop buffs from Conquest and Assault Boost Relics.

We always strive to ensure that Dawn of Titans is balanced and fair, so we are currently investigating the technical aspects of a longer-term solution. Thank you for your patience, and to the community for bringing this issue to our attention.”

(Note from SteelSpine:  Hopefully the Devs will come up with a more permanent solution for this issue and reinstate the Troop Health and Troop Damage buffs to Conquest and Assault Boost Relics.  They aren’t a huge help to Castle L25 Players, but I would imagine they are immensely helpful for newer Players and Players who don’t have a wide variety of 4* Relics to choose from or who aren’t yet maxed out.  If any more info is posted, I’ll be sure to report it in the Recap).

NEXT TWO WEEKS:

MONDAY, 29 JUNE until TUESDAY, 30 JUNE:  A SPELLCRAFT Event (discount on Spells and Spell Upgrades).

MONDAY, 29 JUNE until THURSDAY, 2 JULY:  A CONQUEST Event featuring the return of POSEIDON will take place.   (Note:  No information was given regarding whether or not Poseidon will be Re-skilled for this Event, but the past few Events that featured returning Greek Gods did NOT have their Skills changed).

THURSDAY, 2 JULY:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  This one will be called “Resurrection”.  (Note from SteelSpine:  No further details were given, but the name of this Event suggests that it MAY POSSIBLY feature Reskilled Titans - or, as a few Players pointed out to me this week, it could possibly feature the return of Osiris.  This is only speculation on my part, though - we likely won’t know for sure until July 1).

MONDAY, 6 JULY:  A PORTAL SURGE Event (discount on purchasing Portal Stones).

MONDAY, 6 JULY until THURSDAY, 9 JULY:  A RELIC FESTIVAL (Temple Altar Event) will take place.  It will be called “ARTIFACTS OF THE DEAD”.

THURSDAY, 9 JULY:  Another Leaderboard Event begins.  It will be called “THE MISTRESS OF DREAD”.  No further information is available at this time.

Shoutout to “smellypoo”, who informed me that the Staff of Earth was previously available in one Event: an Individual Leaderboard Event back on January 6 called “Earthly Relics”.  (It wasn’t in my notes because that Event took place before the Devs started giving us info for the early week “mini Relic Events” during the weekly LiveStream).  Nice job noticing the error - thanks for the correction!  :-)

This week’s Event will be called “Kami of the Divine Wind”.  It will begin on THURSDAY, JUNE 18 and run until MONDAY, JUNE 22.

Titan Details:

This week’s Event features the debut of HACHIMAN, the Earth Ranger.  HACHIMAN’s Skills increase the effectiveness of Goliaths, Archers and Shield Spells.  (Note:  The Official DoT Blog does not mention or list him as an “Invoker” Titan, but I’m pretty sure three of his Skills are “Invoke” Skills - they follow the same pattern as other Invoke Titans).

HACHIMAN’s SKILLS:

Slot 1:  On Enemy Unit death, summon Omega Goliath (Max 5).  +117% Goliath Health.  +40% Base Archer Damage.

Slot 2:  +30% Goliath Resist All Elements.  +30% Goliath Melee Resist (2x on Defense).  +225% Archer Damage (2x on Defense).

Slot 3:  On Enemy Spell Cast, increase All Troop All Elemental Resist by +15% (Max 5).  +30% Goliath Ranged Resist.  +4 Shield Spells.

(ALSO:  I am pretty sure that Hachiman’s Prestige Skill grants you one extra REGULAR Archer Unit, NOT an Omega Archer.  But that’s just based on the fact that it says “Archer” instead of “Omega Archer”, so I MAY be wrong).

MONDAY, 22 JUNE until TUESDAY, 23 JUNE:  A TITANS UNLEASHED Event (also known as a TITAN FUSION EVENT).  This one will feature Rangers in the Temple, but as always ALL same-class to same-class Fusion will result in the same XP bonus.

MONDAY, 22 JUNE until WEDNESDAY, 24 JUNE:  A THEATERS OF WAR Event will take place.  It will be Earth-themed, and possible drop rewards from Arena Battles will include Flame Candle Event Boost Relics for June 25th’s “Tusk & Hide” Event.  Players will also have an opportunity to turn in their saved up Echos Of War Tokens for a 4* Lithotaur (40 Echos), a 4* Stonescar (30 Echos) or a 3* Joran (15 Echos).

I’m sorry this edition of the Recap is a bit late.  I’ve been pretty busy the past week, helping to support local BLM protests (as much as I’m capable of with my disability, anyway).

This week’s Event is called “Divine Youkai”.  It began on THURSDAY, JUNE 11 and will run until MONDAY, JUNE 15.

This week’s Event features ONI, the Physical Paladin.  ONI was previously only available as a possible reward from the 10k and 12k Divine Gem Altars.  This is his first time being featured in a Leaderboard Event.  (NOTE:  Oni has NOT been reskilled for this Event - his Skills are the same as they were when he was originally offered as a Divine Altar Titan.  I have also included his “Prestige Skill” below; more information regarding Prestige Skills can be found at the end of this Recap and on my blog).

MORE PRESTIGE INFORMATION:

(NOTE:  I posted a bunch of info in a “Special Edition” of the Recap on my blog last week.  The info below is new - it was included in this week’s Official DoT Blog post).

Once a Titan reaches Level 60, its PRESTIGE Skill will be available for activation.  To unlock Level 1, you’ll need to “Enhance” your Titan using one 4* Titan of the SAME ELEMENT as “Prestige Food” (similar to how we use useless Relics as “Forging Food”, and useless Titans as “Fusion Food”).  A Titan’s PRESTIGE Skill *DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCK* when you reach Level 60 - you MUST burn away a 4* Titan of the same Class to raise it to Prestige Level 1.

In order to further “Enhance” (or Level Up) your chosen Titan’s Prestige Skill, you will need to fill varying “Slots” per Level.  The number of “Slots” required to “Enhance” your Titan’s Prestige will depend on which type of “Prestige Skill” it is.  There are two different types of Prestige Skills:  Some Titans will have a UNIQUE Prestige Skill, while others will have a Prestige Skill based on their CLASS & ELEMENT combination.  Titans with a UNIQUE Prestige Skill will require EIGHTEEN Slots to be filled in order for their Prestige Skill to reach Level 10, whereas Titans with a CLASS & ELEMENT Prestige Skill will need to have FIFTEEN Slots filled to reach Level 10.

One 4* Titan of the SAME ELEMENT as your Prestige Titan will be required to fill each Slot.  When two or more Slots are required to Level Up your Titan’s Prestige, you can use a duplicate of that particular Titan to receive a “DUPLICATION BONUS” - which will count as TWO Slots instead of the usual ONE.  For example:  If your Prestige Titan is Helga, and you use another Helga to Level Up her prestige, you will fill TWO Slots instead of one.  Note that this ONLY WORKS for Prestige Levels that require two or more Slots to be filled; you will NOT get a Duplication Bonus if your current Prestige Level only requires one Slot to be filled.  (Note:  I’m trying to explain this a bit better than the Devs did on their blog, but I know this is confusing.  Sorry if I’m messing you guys up).

THURSDAY, 18 JUNE:  Another ALLIANCE LEADERBOARD Event begins.  This one will be called “Kami of the Divine Wind”.  No other details were given - but we can probably assume that the Titan in this Event will be a Ranger Titan (based on the following Monday’s Ranger-themed Titan Fusion Event), in addition to possibly being a new Invoker Titan (but that’s just speculation on my part).  

(NOTE from SteelSpine:  It appears based on the “Unique Skilled Prestige Titan” list that this Titan will be named HACHIMAN.  According to Wikipedia, Hachiman is the ancient Shinto god - or KAMI - of war, divination, and culture. He is famously credited with sending the kamikaze  - or DIVINE WIND - which twice dispersed the invading fleets of Mongol ruler Kublai Khan in the 13th century CE.  Hachiman is also known as the god of ARCHERY - and this Event is likely to feature a Ranger Titan.  So the name fits the Event perfectly).
